To be honest, I still haven't recovered from losing a 15U play on Philly when Lee was up 5-2 in the 8th at Toronto. My confidence has been off ever since, and I have no business making as many plays as I'm making.

you have certainly been firing at a machine gun pace as of late..problem with machine guns is they hard to aim...

i remember the tor/phi gm, i passed just cause didnt trust him or team but that was certainly a tough one 2 swallow i imagine.. just take a breath and find you a couple upcoming series to focus on that you know you can bag a winner or 2 out of at some point over coarse of series...

only thing im touching during the day is nats/rox ov 11...not much to explain i havnt said in several threads of my own and others last few days talking bout this series..obviously the humidor isnt working these days at Coors, we pretty much know we gonna see 3-4 innings of rox pen (minimum), while i dont like nats vs lefties this is now 4th day in a row they will see a lefty and have been producing..Jackson been freakishly consistent for him this season, while that is fine he has a track record of the exact opposite and if memory serves me right has been tagged once or twice at Coors..probably a super square day over as after last 2 gms id imagine ppl will come around to betting this over but ive made a commitment to either playing rox rrl at home when i think they can steal one or over if not.. no reason to stop going to the well until they give me reason to stop..

I've been up 20 plus units and down 20 plus units over the course of this thread, so I have no choice but to start digging back out of the mess I've made for myself in the last 52 brutal hours.

No worries, NC. I was on a similarly torrid pace from the beginning of the season all of the way through May 28th, hitting a solid 41% over 120 bets and being down ~35 units.

Biggest problem is trusting your stuff. Hard to do that when your system is failing. Easy to get short-sighted and frustrated over a few bad days and feel like nothing will go right again.

That's the worst part. I added a few more hitting indicators to look at a few weeks ago, but I don't think it does much as I'm still using the old system to corroborate with the new one. On the bright side, the last two days came on the same set of series', so at least it's not a sample that spans over a large grouping; sometimes teams are just overmatched.

Lighten the unit-load a little bit until you get on another hot streak. It feels infinitely worse when you try getting it all back at once and those lose too.
