2-1 +.95u on the day. Not bad, I'll take it. Start believing in Chris Sale and, most importantly, the White Sox bullpen. Very underrated. Dependable in the late innings, with a lot of hard throwers.

Jake Westbrook is under the radar this year fellas. The man's 2-0 with a 0.64 era. In his two starts he has forced 29 groundball outs as opposed to 15 flyball outs. His sinker is nasty right now. The wind is blowing out to center at 10 mph and may pick up by game time. I like my chances with a groundball pitcher against an anemic offense.
Correia's numbers look good so far this year but both games were pitched on the road where he had a 2.64 era last season. Last season, at home, Correia was 2-8 with a 7.71 era. Dude hates PNC. Not to mention current Cardinals hit .305 off of him with a .383 OBP in 118 at bats. Correia has walked 14 Cardinals and struck out only 16 in that span. Last season against the Cardinals Correia pitched 11.2 innings with a 5.40 era. In those 2 starts he allowed 7 earned runs, walking 5 and striking out only 5. In these types of situations, I dont mind laying the juice. Don't like a lot on the board today, may lay low, or may drop another unit on this. BOL gentlemen.

One of the worst. Capped the games last night and came away with Cardinals, Marlins Under 6.5, and Angels Under 7.5. Not gonna lay -125 juice on an under 6.5 and this morning the Angels dropped to 7. Might just stick it out with the Cards and make a play on my Blackhawks later. I'm a hockey homer haha.

RD, seems to me that Humber should have similar results as Sale yesterday. Would you agree with this statement?

I like Humber today. He pitched very well against the Mariners last year (1-0 1.84 era in 14.2 innings with Mariners hitting .160 off of him) I also think the Sox made a mistake today by inserting only 3 lefties in their lineup. Lefties hit .314 off Beavan last season (righties just .236). Fukudome is 3-3 against Beavan with 2 doubles, yet he's on the bench. This should be a spot where Ventura has 4-5 lefties in the lineup. Because he doesn't, Beavan will be able to navigate through White Sox 6-9 hitters quite easily (not to mention Morel hitting second, dudes a bum). The core of the White Sox bullpen has been overworked recently so even in a close game I see Will Ohman, Nate Jones, and/or Addison Reed making appearances today which is why I dont like the under for the game. I'm taking a long look at the under 3.5 for the first 5 innings at +EV. This looks like a tough game bet. Would lay off for the game.

I can't bear to sit through a Yankees/Red Sox game for a while. Yesterday's game, although a nice winner, took 4-4.5 hours to complete. Add those pitchers to the mix. I dont know if I can take it haha. I'm gonna take a look at Atlanta right now.

72 degrees in Boston today. Wind blowing out at 15 mph, Doubront with a 3:1 flyball out to groundball out ratio. Seems disastrous.
In his last start at home he got 14 flyball outs and 2 groundball outs. Thats nuts.

Line seems right on the Braves game. I see no edge. Definitely want to wait and see how many lefties the Braves are gonna throw at Saunders because lefties dont fair too well against him. .212 last season with a .240 OBP.

Well, apparently Correia has just been scratched and AJ Burnett will start for the Pirates. Pretty much blows all the time and effort I put into this bet, but what can ya do. Hopefully AJ has control problems.

Good to see you on the Cards, I locked them at -125 early this morning. The line movement since the pitching change is working in our favor so it appears the books don't have that much confidence in Burnett. Hope we can cash this one
