If you are talking about the 3 games that the Dodgers lost to Arizona in early July it was not a play because that was a 4 game series and the Dodgers won the first game.

Because i do not understand this part "Since the Detroit Tigers fell within the accepted .01 range of RPI disparity with the Minnesota Twins at the time..." within range is it from 0 to .01?

No. The official play rpi is .015. To an official play the team you are betting on cannot be lower than the other team by more than .015 and the V3 is .025. There is no unofficial V3 play. It is or it isn't.

You can only get alternate run line action offshore. Morrison's rule says that if the team you are betting on is favored up to -115 that you should bet them on the +1.5 alternate run line, which results in extremely high juice (well over -200). It's a filter he came up with to wipe out a loss a few years ago. It rarely comes into play where it is needed. Personally, I never play it but we are tracking his system strictly by his rules. The choice is yours to make. GL

Smart move, especially after today. I need to do some simple math and see where someone would be with that Cleveland series right now, with it being an alternate run line play and a V2 play. By any chance do you know what the alternate run line juice was on today's game?

Total losses so far are 7.75U for CLE following the system rules.

Game 1 M/L was -125.
Game 2 Alt R/L was -200 (i'm pretty sure the M/L ended up at -102 or something similar).
Game 3 M/L is -135

Game 1: Loss of 1.25U
Game 2: Loss of 6.50U (If played alt R/L, plus to win an extra unit per V2)
Game 3: Risking 14.51U to win 10.75U (should be risking to win 3 total units, as i understand it with the V2 plays)

I think I'm laying off Cleveland. Yuck. Cinci looks better, IMO.

I get my capping info here at SBR. Go to live odds, MLB odds, click on the little blue i box
next to the teams and click on matchups, you will see what I mean about Clev.

Verses left handed pitchers they're 10-24 and other yucky stuff.

Don't want to be a bad luck shamrock. They might still win, but not very good stats for a C bet.

Thank you for posting that. Unfortunately the line on Cleveland has dropped from -135 to -115 and therefore making it another alternate run line play.
