Thanks again to all of you for the condolences.
On another note I just fired off an email to Morrison letting him know about not letting us know about the system plays today.

Notes: What's unbelievable is the performance of the unofficial system. What makes me nervous is another V2 play on Texas. I've got a buttload out on this series now. Let's just hope the system performs. It's a double V2 bet and they rarely lose so I'm hoping it stays true to form.
There are 9 possible sweeps today with 6 having future plays.

I'm invested too heavily in it to back away but I don't feel warm and fuzzy about it either. I am playing it straight up today.

Here's JM's email. On time for a change. Notice that there is a period after Texas. That means its a V2 play.
James,
Congrats on cashing in on 2 out of 3 system bets yesterday!
I have absolutely no doubt that we will finish off the
remaining series tonight. Let's get to it!
Go to the link below to see our upcoming system bet(s):
I did email him twice yesterday about his timing and missed plays and V2 notifications. He did not write back but he did put the Cubs series up albeit as an (A) bet and he also noted Texas as a V2. I also asked him if he was this dependable for his V3 system and offered my assistance if he was having trouble knowing which plays to send out.

I just know the Rangers are killing my accounts....with the moneyline so heavily favored it looks alot like the tigers series that had me on the ropes in early june. These C bets are brutal...guess that's why they call it gambling. Anyways, I generally start a series risking 10% of my balance but it's been my experience that in a series like this you can actually win the C bet and lose money, especially if you're not willing to take your balance down to zero for the C bet. Despite winning 6 of the 7 bets this weekend I will barely make any profit from this weekend and all this action due to this Rangers series. Am I the only one in this position? I guess I'm asking for any input on how you guys approach your money management using the system. I'm really glad to have found this forum and many thanks for all your comments on here.

All those stats do is sway people one way or another. I don't pay any attention anymore to that stuff as I always did the wrong thing. I just play the system and let it go at that.

Team Hoddy: I was on the tigers, white sox and the rangers when they were losing 4,5, and six games. I rode them out and made a profit, but it not fun. Also takes a big chunk of your bk.

Starting with 10% on the A bet is too high IMO.
It's much easier on my stomach and my bankroll when I start with around 1%.

All I can say is WHEW! I had a lot riding on one game to recover what started out as a bet to win one unit.
We had some sweeps today and one unofficial play tomorrow. Back in the morning with all the updates. G'night All.
P.S. Yes, 1% of your bankroll is a legit amount to do this style of chase betting. If you're placing a bet to win $100 you better have at least $1,000 to back it up and sometimes even a lot more depending on the juice. Last year in a Cubs/Pirates series it went to a (C) bet and all the bets were high juice like -200 and better and by the time it got to the (C) bet you would have had like $2,500 riding just to win $100. Doesn't make a lot of sense does it? Be very careful when we get to multiple bets. Budget accordingly.

Hi there Teamhoddy, as several people here have already said, 10% as a starter is way too high. One or maybe even half is much safer because as you've found, it only takes one disaster to empty your account.
MONEY MANAGEMENT - This is actually quite simple (despite it taking me literally years to learn) but does require iron-discliplined will-power. The number one thing to remember is - Do not become 'greedy' after a few wins and start raising stakes. As your balance increases () using the system I'm eventually going to explain, then increase the unit size, say at the beginning of the next month.
When I say 'unit', I mean amount 'to win'. That is, per series.
Right, here we go, keeping things easy, simple, assuming odds are always 'evens' ie bet 10, win 10 (they never are - usually heavily 'odds-on' ie a high 'minus' figure) and a starting balance of $1000.
Bet A) One percent of $1000, so starting bet would be $10. It loses...
Bet B) Aim to recoup last nights loss ($10) plus what you aimed to win ($10) so tonights bet is $20. It loses...
Bet C) Aim to recoup last nights loss ($20), the loss from the night before ($10), plus what you aimed to win ($10) so tonights bet is $40. It wins!
So you've recouped your two losses and achieved your unit win of $10
Hope this is of some use and if anyone else can add to this or show me where I may have messed up, please do.

I think that your C bet should be last nights loss ($20 - the B bet) plus the loss from the previous night ($10 - the A bet) plus what you aimed to win ($10), so tonights bet is $40.
10% is far too high for a starting bet. That is how my bankroll got wiped out in 2008. I have only just been able to fund a new bankroll - and it is very tiny at the moment.

Notes: Really nice to get that (C) bet win. Personally, I had a lot riding on that game. After going through a series like that you just sit back and scratch your head in wonderment of what just happened. A ton of money out just to win a unit. I know (C) bets are powerful but I've seen enough of them lose to where I'm never comfortable with them. Well if you thought July was busy just wait till August. It has more plays than July.

Another unofficial bet cashes on the first bet. Won't know if we have a V3 play on the Chisox until the rpi comes out in the morning. A nice little slow spell here before it gets crazy again. So everybody take a couple days off, you earned it. Yeah I know, it's been strange. I don't think we've ever gone this deep into a season without an unofficial loss, and the unofficial plays are killing it. Not a single (C) bet yet. Keep your fingers crossed.
