Nice!!! I've learned to order rare when I get a filet there. That damn plate is so hot it cooks up one... gotta love the sauteed shrooms

the plate was ridiculous - i cant even move right now....so full, but the porterhouse for 2 is not enough. i went with a bunch of guys from work and split it with my buddy - we filled up on sides.....but the place is really good. Nothing beats Peter Lugers.

Friday 4/27:

(10u) Under Marlins/DBacks 7.5 (A3)

*I will eat the juice and go 10u Over if the dbacks move to 26-30 in bullpen rank (then it wont be an A3 play) - currently 24th, but i want to lock in 7.5 as this looks like it will close at 7 - i can even have a tight middle opportunity rooting for a 7 run game. the bullpen rankings should be updated on espn by tomorrow morning.

My local has been stuck at 6.5 all day too.. It's at -140 rt now for the under and +120 or the over... Will wait till last min then book it if it doesn't drop down... Hmmm...

Normally I would agree, but with the public on the over, it makes the theory a little less slam-dunkish.

for the A3s, do you go by the average whip over the last 3 needing to be under 1? or each of the last three games needs to individually have a whip under 1?

for the A3s, do you go by the average whip over the last 3 needing to be under 1? or each of the last three games needs to individually have a whip under 1?

average whip 1.00 or < for last 3 starts (which must be in the last 30 days). thats what i look for A1, A2 and A3.

saunders has a whip of 1.00 last 3 - so that qualifies tomorrow. zambrano is at .95.

good idea - my locals dont offer 1st 5, although im sure i can get someone to book it for me. i will just stick to full games, but its definitely a great idea.

Dex, I've been quietly, appreciatively "lurking" for a while and noticed that occasionally you have to "pour cold water" on enthusiastic regulars trying to anticipate upcoming plays...and I've noticed the above intriguing idea (most recently posted by mbs4) pop up a few times as well...but you obviously have your hands full handling the several auto-plays currently on the front burner (both here and in the NBA, as well)...

Anyhow...i thot' it would be a worthwhile project, and something that you could endorse...to encourage regulars who are quite tuned into your system particulars...to keep their eyes open for just such "plays that are disqualified solely due to bullpen considerations" and bring them to your/our attention in some way (perhaps in a new "spinoff" thread created just for this purpose, so as not to clutter/confuse THIS thread)...

this might provide an outlet for this thread's sharp cookies to get more actively involved in the system's nuts and bolts...
at the same time as it provides some real-time data for a potentially-profitable "wrinkle" on your established MLB system(s)...

just an idea
