Of course they have a shot -- it's the World Series.

I'm just waiting for someone to explain to me why they were +140 at the start of this series. Haven't heard one legitimate reason yet.

weren't the Giants + money last year at the beginning of the world series?

          No idea.

I don't even remember who had home field advantage. All I know is that you have two pretty even teams for the most part, no distinct advantage either way, the NL side with home field, and they were +140?

even? look around sbr. everyone and there brother thinks Tex is a lock since they score 10 runs a game.. why would the books make this series even, or the team that shouldn't even have made the playoffs ---the favorites? it was just a little over a month ago that the Cards were 8.5 games behind the Braves.

I didn't say the odds should have been even, but for all intents and purposes, there's not much difference between these teams.

+120 was what I had it at when I capped it.

Giants closed at +127 last year for the series price. First game won't decide the series. Tex will still win this series.

i swear bro, one of these days you will have to explain to me how your process works.. if you think they are close and you caped it @ stl +120 then for the life of me i cant understand why you wouldnt have pulled the trigger on stl +140ish, hell you already would have been able to walk away with a profit...i mean i know why you go this route i just dont understand it, i trust myself more i guess but if i see 20 cents of perceived "value" i dont question why, i buy....

I guess I like to give the experts who actually come up with the lines more credit than I do my own capping abilities.

Turns out StL at +140 was the steal of the century.

no over yet, plus after the stl scored a run bookmaker wouldnt do any live betting on the winner of this game. A good sign that they didnt want to pay out rangers money. And now its 2-1
