Things balance out IMG. You won the monster comeback by the Reds the other day. Look at the positives, Padres were winning, but only by 1.

Why didn't they leave Peavy in? It makes no sense.

I never understand managers that pull the starters when they are not being touched.
It always burns them. Seems like 95% of the time.

The first couple weeks were like that for me, but things turned around a little. - although the A's loss was brutal today.

Even if he gives up a few hits then yank him. It makes no sense. Oh well, I need a major comeback.

If you keep laying that chalk, you will get burnt more often then not.
I think I have bet 3 favorites this year...the biggest being a -110. The others were -102 and -105. They went 2-1. The other 50 or so bets are all doggies.

4 walks in the 9th...with a tied score......can't believe the manager left that idiot in there so he could make a total fool of himself.

Books only offer 8-10 cent lines to keep players interested until football season and it's a proven fact that they lose money on alternate runlines. Squares do lose during baseball, but any semi-sharp cleans house every year. Since most squares only bet football/basketball it's my opinion that books lose during baseball since only your hardcore gamblers bet it.

I went 3-3 tonight...one unit on each...still made money...can't do that in any other sport.

yeah...sharp players can win in baseball no doubt...i am not disputing that....i am talking about the aggregate. I've talked with several people on this issue including a semi-professional gambler on which is the most difficult sport to bet and make money and each and everyone has told me the same answer that baseball by far and away is the most difficult to win. betting 5 months of bases everyday is going to take it's toll on you...and the only way to win is betting dogs and small favorites which is impossible for the majority of squares.
I can assure you that books aren't losing any money when it comes to baseball...in fact, your statement is an empirical as you can ask a bookmaker as to which sport they win/lose the most amount...which gives me an idea...i'll email a book and find out to settle it.

you can depending on the juice...but baseball is really it. In fact, I am 41-45 for the year and still on the positive side (barely though). I suspect I could hit 43-45% of my games I could still churn a profit but it's not easy.

Im 26-32 in Bases, and Im up just about 20 units. Granted I hit my biggest plays, but like I said above. I very rarely bet favorites, and never heavy favorites. I cash in on a lot of small favorite RL's. You get a good comebacks on those, but you have to be careful because those RL's will bite you in the azz.
It just shows you dont have to be positive record wise in Baseball to bring back a profit. Unless you bet the chalk day in and day out, then you can get in trouble.
Ive split the last 3 days, 2-2 and always bring a profit. Today went 3-1 and enjoy a big payout. In other sports I like to just take 3 games, but in Bases you can take 4 and split for the day and win also. If they are all doggies.
Just have to be smart and dont get caught chasing that chalk to think your being safe. The risk is not worth the reward.

Fvck it. I am going to bet very small favorites and dogs for awhile and
see how it works. Sucks that I have to experiment, With Hoops and
Football I know almost everything I need to know. With all the one
run victories Luck is defitinely involved so far. But someone picking
Dogs is better off.
