I think you guys are really underestimating MIL. There are some good teams out there, and there is really no need to debate, but DET is not better than MIL at all. On paper they might be, but that's about it right now.

Avg's imo is more important. The more hits your team gets the more opportunity for runs there is.

Detroit isn't better than milwaukee because their pitching is dog shit. only 2 reliable starters and a shitty ass bullpen to go along with it.

I am glad it is your opinion, b/c it is wrong. This does not make any sense whatsoever. Batting average is more important than RA? Why is on-base percentage more important than batting average? Nobody cares how you get on base, just as long as you can get on so you can score. Offense is not strictly batting average.

The name of the game is scoring runs. Even if MIN has the same run average as MIL, MIL plays in the NL and MIN in the AL. On top of that, MIN homefield is a notorious offensive ballpark. It's ludicrous to think that MINN has the better offensive.

Rule of thumb: If an AL and NL team avg the same runs per game, the NL team has a better offense obviously

BA is the worst offensive stat to use

I think they'll either win the division or get the Wild Card.

Wild card will most likely come from the Central. Chicago and Milwaukee are the hottest faves to take 1st and 2nd place. Of course the Cards have a shot as well, but Milwaukee is quite a bit better than St. Louis IMO.

I think CC is the best pitcher at the moment...
He's so dominant right now, he's thrown 3 completed games in a row now and got the shutout yesterday with only 3 hits. The first hit came first in 6th...
For the Brewers he got a 4-0 record, 1.36 ERA, 33 IP, 31 K's.... Thats sick!!!
When CC throws there no need to worrie about the pen, cause he throws a full game...

Can CC continue this whole-game stuff for long? He's on a high now though but the jury is still out on him, IMO.

The reason CHC got off to such a good start is that they had a disproportionate amount of home games compared to MIL. Well, the final 60 games of the season has MIL with way more home games than CHC. That's a huge advantage. I think MIL ends up taking the division. They are playing very very well right now.
