Good point, but the Rangers are one of those public favorite teams (Yankees, Red Sox, Rangers, Phillies) that Vegas loves to bank on. The question is not "why would Vegas set Weaver at + money," but rather "why would vegas set Texas as a measly -115 at home against a team they generally own." 86% of the public on Texas so I think Vegas has done their job. If I'm wrong I'll be back with an apology after the game. Weaver and the Halos for the win. BOL

When I looked at the line, it looked like Vegas was begging people to take Weaver and the Angels. How often is Weaver an underdog to a pitcher like Colby Lewis????

Books knew Weaver would wear down on short rest and how big the game was for Texas who was the slightly better team playing at home.

I'M SORRYYYYYY. Angels are the worst team to bet on under the spotlight. They are a great under the radar type team to bet on but they choke in all of the big road games...

Not to rub salt on the wound of Angels backers, but there was reverse line movement all over this game. 43-40% were on Rangers based on SBR. -105 went to -123 by gametime. Went pretty big on Rangers just because of this fact. Was pissed in the beginning, but happy as hell in the end.
