The Cubs haven't performed well in the third game of a series this year, going 13-23 while the Cards have gone 22-16. The Cubs are 6-20 in their last 26 Sunday games. Now, these stats are the only reason I can see why the Cards are favored, because nothing else makes sense.
The Cubs' Lopez has an ERA of 1.12 in his last four home starts. The Cubs are averaging 5 runs per game in their last 7 home games, compared to the Cards' 3.8. Cubs bullpen is 2.59 in the last 10 games.
I'm backing the Cubs at +128 to get a primetime sweep, and the game will go over 8.5 (which will be added to my totals system thread, which is currently 6-3 with one game pending)
