i like that it's plus money, but i don't like Nolasco's history vs Cards or with this ump. kinda like Cards ML or maybe Marlins TT under 3.5 +100. if you like under 8, then you have to feel pretty decent about Marlins not scoring more than 3.

That is exactly my dilemna as well....however, because of a lot of key guys missing from their lineups right now (e.g. Freese, Molina, Infante and Ramirez), I am inclined to roll with the under here once again after cashing last night's under. The question is if Ramirez is playing because I think he might end up being in the lineup....

if i was inclined to play the under in fla i think i would do fla tt un 3.5, imho if fish score 4 you can rip up your under ticket anyway. Been years since i saw Nolasco throw a pitch that missed a stl bat, im sure that could change but seems as if albert/holliday/puma might all be starting to click at the same time for the 1st time all year. Freese out helps as it does take away from the offense and prob helps the d a little with delscaso at 3rd, actually him at 3rd and furcal at short make for a much more respectable left side than Carp has seen behind him all year. Cards seem pretty focused atm and wouldnt think they let up here with mil at hou getting free wins, pen came thru last night and my guess is bats do the lifting tonight, will it be enough to make the gm go over? no clue, just pretty sure if fish get 4 this goes over but they could score 3 and gm still go over here..STL-120 for me.

I like that Tigers/Royals under as well, but have not been able to lock it in yet because both of my locals are sitting at 7.5 with plus money on the under and I would rather pay the juice for 8 in this one because of Duffy's poor history against the Tigers.

Nevertheless, I am confident the under cashes based on my bigger local showing such a lean. Generally, when that particular local is off-market in offering a 7.5 total where the rest of the market is set at (8), the under has been been hitting close to 63% since I've been tracking this phenomenon in mid-May (sample size still only 40 games so nothing dispositive). This particular book is a large operation and takes a pretty substantial lean every now and again when it comes to (8) run totals, even though it generally follows 5D lines. If I like an under and I see this book take the 7.5 run lean, I will often add a half unit or so.

are you on drugs? sabathia is being priced as the best pitcher in baseball and lackey the worst in this game. I'm unsure of how much extra sabathia gets priced purely based on his run support history, I'm pretty sure this is unique to him, but if I had to guess I'd say it's around 10 cents.

The Haren/Chatwood switch 2 days ago was a 50 cent difference from -118 to -168. Lackey/Sabathia(independent of hitting, which I'm giving boston an 8 cent advantage) is being priced at about 75 cents crossing +100 which makes that difference even more significant. Chatwood is dead last in baseball in SIERA and Haren is just as good as Sabathia. Is Lackey easily the worst pitcher in baseball? I say no.

Also, for you idiots who are going to talk about Sabathia's epic pitching run the past 2 months...Lackey since the beginning of June has been an average pitcher and only about 1 run a game worse than Sabathia, start it at July and Lackey's been a well above average pitcher. So the idiots who want to believe Sabathia's 2 months matters(it doesn't) then you have factor in Lackey's last 2 months, which would mean the yankees are overpriced by at least 20 cents.
