Peralta sitting is a crime, they are in a pennant race. Jackson and Ordonez are both being replaced by lefties(dirks, kelly) so that's basically a wash. It's scary how good and complete the rangers offense is even without beltre. That said, I think the price is ridiculous and I'm on the tigers.

well, it's a by-product of the fact that SBR is pretty loose and give posters a fair amount of latitude, i think (and that's a good thing). there are other forums where very little of that goes on, but there's little debate and the conversations are very vanilla and if you question someone's picks, they act as if you dropped a digital fart in their face.

that said, the cycle of the season-long thread here is pretty predictable: if it's successful, it will get a lot of views and people will talk it up; guys will come along to bash because they are jealous; the followers stick up for the OP; guys pick fights over things said many pages earlier; OP eventually loses his temper and things unravel; and several pages of the thread end up looking like a transcription of some cunty sorority meeting except with a few sports references. no thanks.
