Yeah its a 14-15 hour flight for us over here! Have to go over for a close mate's wedding.. They choose Hawaii because she's an American girl, & he is Aussie, so it's a bit of a compromise for both families. Mind you this year is sending me broke as it's the 2nd international wedding i've had to go to; the other being in South Africa for another friend.

Here's hoping we can all go on a massive winning run to cover the costs before i leave!

i dipped my toe back in the fade Cubs pool last night, might be willing to get back at it tomorrow. can't imagine that they have much of a book on Edwin Jackson and he's pitched well this season. want to see what BigDan thinks as Cards are his team, but it makes sense, even moreso if they lose tonight.

yeah its been tough lately due to some rounds where teams are mismatched and there have been some massive blow outs. i've gone off it lately as my team, the tigers, are going through a big rough spell (mainly due to being a very young team getting tired as the season gets longer & the backline decimated by injuries)

give me a couple of minutes & i'll see what leans i come up with.

it's generally spread plays. i went to 5D to see what else was available, but no AFL games up yet. i believe that they also offer ML and maybe totals.

1-5 -10.11u on the bases tonight. Worst night in months. Bah. real kick in the pills. back at em tomorrow. will try to stick to 3-4 plays. you can't lose 5 if you don't play 5....

rightyo.. was gonna say they offer a bet type of "win over 39.5 points" over here which is helpful if the spread is slightly higher. guess its a way of buying a cheap few points!

on 1st look i like:

Carlton -22.5pts (Carlton in form, North Melbourne are hot & cold and struggle against the stronger teams)

West Coast ML (Was going to take Bulldogs ML but then saw that they lose 6 of their best players this week to injury leaving massive holes across the field. West Coast need to solidify their finals spot & possibly push for the 'double chance' come finals time)

Geelong -45.5 (Geelong are 1 of the top 2 sides in the comp, in form & get some quality players back. Melbourne are the definition of hot & cold - Their best is good, their worst is shocking. Also i think Geelong have only failed a few times to cover the spread this year out of 19 times.)

Fremantle +13.5 (Always love Fremantle at home & they are getting points. They have a tough schedule to finish the year and will see this as 1 of the last chances to shore up a finals spot. Hawthorn are in form & strong but they must cope with the travel factor. Looks like the line has already dropped from 15 to 13.)

Collingwood -46.5 (Another big spread to cover but Collingwood are the powerhouse of the comp & generally smash teams. Essendon look like they have put the cue in the rack for the season and are playing the kids. Essendon's defence has been smashed by injuries as has the midfield.. Collingwood's scoreboard pressure will be too much.)
