    Notorious_Donk's 1st Inning Statistics
I have been posting these 1st inning pitching statistics in mac miller's No Run in the 1st Inning thread, but I decided to make my own thread so I don't "spam." I will be posting individual pitching statistics that include 1st inning runs allowed, win/loss, runs allowed in first inning season average, runs allowed average for each month, and Yes/No numbers with a proportion. Along with the individual pitching statistics, I will be posting team rankings for 1st inning runs per game and 1st inning runs allowed per game. Good luck to all!

    P.S. | Haters, go f**k yourself.

Here are two big factors in the PHI/STL game..

Jimmy Rollins is 3 for 21 (.143) in his career against Kyle Lohse; and Lohse is 5-1 on the road this season.

With Rollins being the lead-off hitter for the Phillies, I don't see him on base in the first inning with those statistics against Lohse. Also, Cliff Lee is on the mound for the Phillies, who has a season average of 0.13 RIF as he recorded 13 No's and only 2 Yes'.

In my opinion, I think PHI/STL and DET/LAD are the two strongest games today. Both games have great first inning pitchers.

Those are most of the statistics I provide, but I can also take requests if anyone is trying to decide on a game. I usually post the statistics for games that other 1st inning bettors wager on.

But he is a good first inning pitcher. In 15 games, he has allowed a first inning run in only three games. He is not that best overall pitcher, but for the way I'm betting, he has good potential.

Detroit scored in the first so that will be a loss if you bet it. If you want to overcome that loss, bet 2x your usual be on the PHI/STL game tonight. I am putting 5 units on it myself, the biggest wager I've placed in a while.

                                    Twins @ Giants

Twins have a pretty good 1st inning offense, but the Giants have the 3rd best 1st inning defense in the league and one of the best 1st inning pitchers in the MLB. Lincecum has an outstanding 0.07 RIF season average, while Duensing hasn't allowed a 1st inning run since May 15. I put 2 units on this pick myself. Good luck!

I am thinking that MIN will score in the 1st so I am putting down: NO score in the 1st with MIN scoring 1st so if they do score in the first, I will break even instead of losing money. Stats for the 1st inning of these two teams; MIN: 0.55; SF: 0.21

I don't see the Twins scoring in the 1st against Lincecum. He has only allowed a 1st inning run in ONE game this season. Although the Twins have a good 1st inning offense, the Giants have a better 1st inning defense and they are even more superior with former 2-time Cy Young winner Tim Lincecum on the mound.

                                                Diamondbacks @ Royals

Earlier in the season, Felipe Paulino was a relief pitcher for the Colorado Rockies. Then he was acquired by the Kansas City Royals where he pitched one game as a relief pitcher before they promoted him to starting pitcher. With the Royals, he has allowed 7 runs in 4 games but none in the first inning. Although his first inning numbers are good, he is an inexperience starting pitcher that is a bit questionable to me. On the other side, Hudson has had a great month of June so far but his YES/NO ratio is staggering. He has 6 Yes' and 9 No's this year, which is not very good comparing to other starting pitchers. If I would have to take a pick in this game, I would take the YES because both pitchers are questionable and both teams have bad 1st inning defenses. A first inning bettor would also take the NO because the Diamondbacks have a decent 1st inning offense but the Royals are terrible. This is a very risky pick if you ask me.

Both teams have good 1st inning batting numbers, and both have bad 1st inning defenses. According to the team statistics, I would definitely take the yes (and because the over/under is at 11). But Chacin is a very good 1st inning pitcher, and in his last outing against the Cubs on April 15, he did not allow a run and came away with a W. On the other side, Garza is an OK 1st inning pitcher according to the overall statistics. But if you look closely, he pitched twice against the Rockies this year and he didn't allow a first inning run in both games. Rockies and Cubs have met 5 times this year, resulting in 2 No's and 3 Yes'. This game is a bit risky for me, because both teams are good 1st inning hitters and they are facing decent pitchers. If I would have to wager on this, I would take the YES.
