        Tuesday 3/6

        Cubs/Twins
        $300 to win $610
Cubs: Marquis vs Ledezma. Ledezma have had two horrible starts L3 games(7.5 ERA, 12 IP). He have pitched only 3, 4 and in his last start 5 innings. The Padres pen got a 5.95 ERA in L3. He have given up 4 runs against Cards, 5 agianst Reds and 1 agains the Nats(but..). He haven't had one good start after a game with 2 or less runs given up. The Cubs have been great AB all year so they should put up a good number here. Meanwhile Marquis(L3: 4.32 ERA, 16.2 IP) havn't given up more than max 4 runs against the Padres in his careere and only 1 run in 7 IP last matchup in SD. Also the Cubs pen got a ok 3.18 ERA.
Twins: Liz vs Slowey. Slowey have been great all year, but in his L3 starts hes been exelente with a remarkable 1.74 ERA and a 1.02 WHIP in 20.2 IP. I can't see a Orioles team with a road AVG on 3.7 runs and .228 AB putting up big numbers against him (im looking for a shutout here). Meanwhile the Twins got a nice 5.7 runs with a .289 AB avg in their L7 games. Liz is 0-1 with a 7.5 ERA in 6 inning all time against the Twins. The Twins sweeped the O's in their two series last year and is 13-3 overall and 5-1 at home L3 season.

        Jays (POD)
        $500 to win $510
The Yanks send out Chamberlain for his first start to face Halladay. Joba shouldn't manage to pitch for more than 4-5 innings and the Yanks pen are struggeling at the moment.
Their L3 games ERA is 4.29 and with a 1.46 WHIP. Meanwhile the Jays pen got a 1.59 ERA with a 1.24 WHIP. Halladay have been great against the Yanks with a 7-3(3-3@NY) record with a 2.99 ERA. The Jays is 17-22 against the Yanks last 3 seasons. So with a new starter vs Halladay + a bad pen you have to take a dog line on the Jays.

              Cardinals/Braves/WhiteSox
              $440 to win $1850
Cardinals: Lohse vs Peres. After a bit tough start Lohse have been great L3 starts with a combine 3 ER with a shutout agains the Dodgers. He got a 1.5 ERA with a 1.11 WHIP L3 starts. Also Lohse got a shutout earlier this year against the Nats in a 3-0 win. Meanwhile Perses have been a bit under ok with a 5.51 ERA and a 1.65 WHIP. But those numbers came in his game against the O's (6 ER). After that it's been 1 and 3 ER against the Brewers and the Padres. In Perez game this season against the Cards he gave up 5 ER in 4 innings in a 5-4 loss. In the L7 games the Cards got an AVG 4.4 runs and a .258 AB. The Nats got 2.9 runs and a .209 AB.
Lohse is 1-1 with a ERA of 6.15 and a WHIP of 1.367 agianst the Nats. Perez is 3-5 with an ERA of 9.12 and a WHIP of 2.067 against the Cards. The Nats are 5-1 in Wash. L3 seasons, but this year they are very weak.
Braves: Badenhop vs Campillo. This is two different pitchers. Campillo got a GREAT .60 ERA and WHIP in 15 IP L3 starts. Badenhop got a 6.14 ERA with a 1.50 WHIP in 14.2 IP. The pens got the same story (L3: Marlins - 5.84 ERA, Braves - 1.60 ERA). The Braves is 24-19 against the Marlins last 3 seasons and are a great home team. Badenhop is 0-1 with an ERA of 10.80 and a WHIP of 1.800 as a starter against the Braves.
CWS: Greinke vs Floyd. Greinke started the season good but he's starting to struggle now. In his L3 start he got a 5.68 ERA with a 1.47 WHIP. Floyd have been stable all season and got a 3.00 ERA with a 1.05 WHIP L3 starts. In the L10 games they have been almost the same AB so I think in this game it's the best pitcher who wins. Greinke got a 2-6 with a ERA of 4.68 and a WHIP of 1.224 as a starter agains the Sox, but he's been struggleing in Chicago. Royals are 0-4 in Greinkes last 4 road starts vs. White Sox and Royals are 14-39 in the last 53 meetings in Chicago. Floyd is 0-1 as a starter against the Royals with an ERA of 4.50 and a WHIP of 1.667.

GREAT start for the Cards, 4-0 after 1st inning + a good job by the Braves, 3-1 in 1st inning after giving up a run

Angels: Weaver vs Silva. Silva has been horrible L3 starts and got a 16.03 ERA with a 2.72 WHIP in 10.2 IP. In his L3 starst combind he have given up 19 ER and he gave up 7 ER in 0.2 innings( !!!) in his last start vs the Tigers at home. Silva had a great start of the season, but has pitched worse and worse after each start now. In day games he got a 7.66 ERA with a 1.66 WHIP in 22.1 IP. Meanwhile Weaver got a 1.35 ERA with a 0.90 WHIP in 13.1 IP in day games. Weaver got in his L3 starts a 4.15 ERA with a 1.27 WHIP in 17.1 IP after a awfull game against the Jays where he gave up 6 ER in his last star. Before that he has given up 2 ER against LA and a shutout against the WhiteSox. The Mariners have been better AB in the L10 games, but I think Silva gonna get Angels looking great while Weaver gonna get another good start and get the Mariners looking worse. TheAngels are 5-1 in the last 6 meetings and 6-2 in the last 8 at Seattle. Also the Mariners are 1-5 in Silvas last 6 starts and 2-8 in their last 10 games following a loss. The Angels are 4-1 in their last 5 vs. American League West meanwhile the Mariners are 1-7 in their last 8 vs. American League West. Silva have been great against the Angels with an ERA of 3.60 and a WHIP of 1.323 and a 6-1 record, but Silva is awfull this year so that gonna change.
Athletics: Robertson vs Duchscherer. Robertson is stable but not good enough. He usualy gives up 4 runs pr. game (4 runs pr. game in 7 of L10 starts) and got a 5.60 ERA with a 1.47 WHIP in 17.2 IP L3 starts. Duchscherer usualy gives up 2-3 runs pr. game (2-3 runs pr. game in 6 of L10 starts) but never given up more than 3 ER and got a shutout against the RedSox two starts ago. He got a 2.37 ERA with a .89 WHIP in 19.0 IP L3 starts + he's better at home with a 1.35 ERA. The Tigers have the edge at batting, but I like the pitching matchup so good that I ignore that. The Tigers are 0-4 in Robertsons last 4 Wednesday starts and are 1-10 in Robertsons last 11 road starts with the total set at 7.0-8.5.
Athletics are 6-1 in their last 7 games following a win and are 4-1 in Duchscherers last 5 home starts. The Tigers are 1-4 in Robertsons last 5 road starts vs. Athletics and 1-6 in L7 at Oakland. Home team is 4-0 in Hernandezs last 4 Wednesday games behind home plate. The Tigers are 3-13 in their last 16 games with Hernandez behind home plate. Home team is 5-1 in Hernandezs last 6 games behind home plate vs. Oakland.
Athletics are 9-7 last 3 seasons in Oakland.

I also got a parlay with the Marlins and the Rockies($300 to win $1158), but thats most for fun and my good feeling...

                              $659 to win $843

Litsch vs Mussina. Im going for the Jays in my POD today also. Litsch is a better pitcher than Mussina and he has proven that with their L3 starts. In his L3 starts Litsch got a 0.83 ERA with a 0.92 WHIP in 21.2 IP with to shutouts in his last two starts (against Athletics and Royals where he went all 9 innings). Meanwhile Mussina got a 5.40 ERA with a 1.89 WHIP in 11.2 IP. The Yanks got a bit better batting stats but after the game yesterday I don't count that big cause the Jays should manage to keep the runs low today too.
The Jays are 5-1 in Litschs last 6 road starts, 8-1 in their last 9 when their opponent allows 5 runs or more in their previous game and they are 8-2 in their last 10 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Yanks are 1-4 in Mussinas last 5 starts as a home favorite of -110 to -150 and 2-5 in Mussinas last 7 starts vs. American League East.

                                        Adding:

                                        Royals
                                        $200 to win $420

This is most for fun, but I got a good feeling on Davies...
Also the Royals have a grip on the Yanks this season with 2-1 in their series earlier this season..

What's your take on the Cubs? Cubs as an underdog? Is there something we don't know about this game? I wanted it in a parlay with the Giants and Red Sox, but I'm getting scared. Can they suddenly implode? Can the Rockies suddenly "resurrect"?

Sorry for my late reply (was with a friend until now). Im picking the Cubs cause: They are way better AB both avg abd R/9, Gallagher had a great game last time up against the Dodgers (1 ER in 7 IP). Kuroda had a awfull start last time against the Mets (6 ER in 2.2 IP), the Cubs ar 4-0 in their last meetings and they are 8-4 in their L12 in LA, road team is 5-1 in Fosters L6 Friday games and the Cubs are a HOT team lately while the Dodgers got something in their system last games. Also I don't like the Dodgers injuries and thats a big point of my Rockies pick agains them (especially Jones and Bennett, 3-9 and 4-11 without).
About the Rockies: The Rockies have played well for two games, but they might struggle against a got/hot Brewers. I like the Rockies (55-45%) cause of my feelings and that the Brewers isn't a good road team, but I don't like the stats and the injuries. Im leaning on the Rockies tonigth, but im gonna stay away mostly cause of the pitching matchup. In the future im gonna be all over the Rockies when Hollyday and Tulo. is back...

Had the sucking Red Sox in a RedSox/Giants/Angels parlay.
Do you know what? The White Sox has started imitating the Red Sox. It's like they'll start losing and winning together!

Yeah... I was leaning on the WSox on this one, but the line was to low to risk it, phew... Looks like it might be a pluss day for me even with the RSox loss. So far Indians, Royals and the Giants/Angels are inn.. Cubs and Brewers-1.0/Padres U7.0 are left

RSox got to many important injuries, the Jays pen like to blow the lead lately, Royals vs Yanks can go either way, the Tigers got a good shoot today but the Indians have been good against them and the Cubs vs Dodgers are open but I like Zambrano today...

This should be two strong picks. Both of them can manage to win the cup this year.

Im leaning on the Cubs today (Lowe got a 7.31 ERA in 16 IP in day games vs Zambrano's 2.62 ERA in 24 IP), but the pitching matchup is to close for me... But I love the U7.5 with Lowe and Zambrano on the mound. Zambrano onlo gave up 1 ER in 8.0 IP last time vs the Dodgers, while Lowe got a shutout in 7.0 IP last time vs the Cubs. Zambrano's L3: 2.70 ERA, 1.30 WHIP, 20.0 IP, 2 ER in 7 IP(Pirates), 1 ER in 8 IP(Dodgers) and 3 ER in 5 IP(Padres) in his last start.
                                                            Lowe's L3: 1.23 ERA, 0.86 WHIP, 22.0 IP, 2 ER in 7 IP(Cardinals), shutout in 7 IP(@Cubs) and 1 ER in 8 IP(Rockies) in his last start.
