I have mixed feelings on the rest of the games on the board. Boston would be one game I don't care for the most. Juice is too high vs Tomlin w/ Lackey on the mound. Granted he's been pitching well lately but Tomlin IMO has been more consistent. Boston still may win but I don't feel confident enough to lay the juice. I see a possible score of Boston 4-3 or Cleveland 5-4 type of game. GL on your card today.

WTH. Friday seems like a good day to go nuts. Square betting like a mofo.

Colon vs Lester... Last 5 games Colon has an ERA of 5.14 and WHIP of 1.84 vs Lester's 1.48 ERA and 0.92 WHIP. Batting has been similar on both fronts for Boston and NYY with a slight edge to NY based on the last 10 games. Hits and HRs about the same with NY leading in BA .326 to .302 and runs 7.4/g to 5.8/g last 10 games. NY w/ a 7 game win streak will come in hot but NYY are 3-13 in their last 16 meetings. With these two pitchers, the huge edge will be with the Bosox IMO. One lefty in the pen for NY also could spell trouble for the whole series if their starters don't go deep into games facing this batting lineup. Besides Ellsbury, Pedroia, Youk, Ortiz and Gonzalez, I'm also loving the play of Josh Reddick. As an opposing pitcher, its rough knowing you face a .330+ BA in the bottom third of the lineup. Sets it up nicely with Salty/Varitek following. For the Bombers, Chavez has been a nice replacement for A-Rod in the same spot as Reddick for NYY. Batting ave hovering around .300 he's produced nicely for the Yanks. I see both Chavez and Reddick playing pivital roles for both teams in this series. Lester should shut down the Yankees potent offense early. Boston 6-3.

Weaver vs Vargas. Nuff said. I'll risk the juice any day on this matchup. Weaver coming off a loss to Verlander will be looking to lock in on this win. Batting about even lately with a slight edge to Seattle. Since the break, they've been hitting the ball decent, surprisingly. Vargas averaging 5.2 runs/g at 4 ER in the last 5 with a WHIP of 1.81 and 6.79 ERA 5.1 innings/g. Weaver ave 1.4 R/ER in the last 5 w/ 1.01 WHIP and 1.73 ERA 7.1 inns/g. Angels 5-1.

Zimmermann vs Nicasio. Nicasio @ 1.21 WHIP, 3.72 ERA, 5.8 inn ave last 5. Zimmermann @ 1.20 WHIP, 4.12 ERA, 6 inn ave last 5. Batting for both teams are relatively even. For a relatively coin flip game, I really like Zimmermann and Washington's pen to have the edge here vs Colorado and a relatively erratic Nicasio. Both are good ground ball pitchers and both have a good K:BB ratio with the edge going to Zimmermann. I'm going with the more experienced pitcher in this matchup sprinkling a little on the under. Washington 5-2.
