did you really go back through every pick to calculate that? and i don't see how you can come up with that without considering units(or maybe i'm misunderstanding you). do you mind just writing out your z-score calculation

Sorry I guess I should've been more clear. This was based on the W/L record alone and doesn't take into account other factors and was providing some useable substance and showing that some people do pay attention to these things because these things matter.

I simply am just looking at the significance of this single event occurring, in this case W/L.

So if we use GG's total games played of as our mark then...

Z(1132) = (Actual(W-607) - Expected(L-525))/STD(33.64) ≈= 2.437

Units won or lost weren't taken into account where, especially in bases, someone can show +Units with a <.500 record and at the same time another could be >.500 and -Units.

I'm not going to saturate this thread anymore, but for those interested in this topic I found a great post by Ganchrow that will explains this in better detail than I ever could.
