You know, I am surprised at how bad things have started this season. Not-so-much the posted picks as I wasn't sure at all how those would do, but my own personally picks have done horrible. I am currently down, after last nights loss 80 units or a -9.18% ROI, strange times, strange indeed... I am still hopeful though that everything will get inline eventually, just wish it was sooner rather than later.

That is true, but it doesn't mean I won't have a bad season. It is bound to happen eventually, you can't win every time, at least I don't think you can. I have so far, but I always thought eventually I would have a losing season. The trick is to survive it and still be around for the next time. It is the reason I set aside my entire bill budget for the 6 months. So, I don't have to worry about the bills at least, but this season is really testing my resolve.

Anyway, thanks for the support and I hope somehow I can claw my way back to the positive.

I had a lot on that Yankees game and it really hit my personal bankroll pretty hard. I still haven't mastered the art of emotional separation. I mean to some degree I have, but with my bankroll dipping so low, my emotional state seems to follow; added further is most of us, including myself, really don't have the support of family or friends as what we do is usually frowned upon. Even past winning seasons seem to not have any value in the eyes of those around us and thus this is one battle where the warrior within us stands alone.

It is time to drop the visor down and prepare for the onslaught of wave after wave of negative units, for this will be a bloody battle and in-the-end hopefully it will be I that stands true and victorious with a blade dripping with the last of these negative unit creature's blood.

I found an old note from a few years back that said filter out all Yankee picks and they tend to be over-valued. Sure would have saved some money if I had that filter in place.
