I didn't play them, damn! I did hit 3-1 on home dogs, though.

3 games fit the Double Play system today. NY Mets, Milwaukee and Seattle. I'm on 'em.

I will be away most of the day, putting on a roof. GL

Well, we'll find out together, won't we? The system is admittedly off to a fast start, and I expect it to settle in at somewhere below 50% w/l, which should still be profitable.

But tell us more. Why do you think it will only work at the beginning, and then why will it inevitably fail? Predict a failure date, if you wish.

I'm torn about the RL Favorites, rkelly... so you went 10-1 instead of 8-3 SU. What if the reverse were true, 1-10 and 3-8 SU, how different would the damage be? My own take is that I'd rather sacrifice a couple of wins to minimize damage on bad days. I guess my own style is as much about heartburn prevention as anything else. Sorry you missed the plays.

I think I'll build my own home dogs history today and run it going forward. Be interesting to see it side by side with my own dog system.

I am interested in seeing how your double play system works out.

We are done! It took a month, because of weather. Didn't want to be up there when it's hot.

Congratulations on the roof. It's harder than it looks. I did the roof on the garage on my first house, and the old roof was so bad the garage was dryer with nothing but felt on the roof.

I remember a post you'd made a while ago about getting killed in MLB in previous years. Yet your approach to things seems pretty successful, and you don't play it? I don't quite follow. YTD how are your runline dogs doing? You are tracking this stuff, aren't you? I run several systems I don't actually play just because it's never the same to backtest... the closing odds are rarely the odds you could get at the time you sat down at the computer. Gotta practice it like you were playing it.

NHL went very well, thank you. I actually spent some time finishing up the record keeping so I can update the thread with final numbers. Another couple of days will do it.
