to run the perimeters
or if you just want to see others that have developed a few systems which are all basically copies of previous systems modified...go here

Not sure how many systems you need...the one in this thread works well over the long run...very basic and you could do it on your own...
Over the winter though...I like to play with numbers and find modifications that help improve the numbers... I have had 3 system losses all year...that is good enough for me...good luck do a little reading and see if one fits your style...Last edited by G's pks; 07-24-11, 08:10 PM.Comment -

CWS is a no play, under .500 and under .500 home record.

I am playing BOS on the RL, that juice is out of control. If NYY creeps above -230, I will play that RL as well. This will happen more often as the 2nd half progresses with the haves separating themselves from the have nots.

#814CIN is not a play, because we decided that for the 2nd half, we are only playing teams that open at -145 or better, no more "bet up" to -145. the 2nd half plays a little differently than the 1st and we are trying to minimize losses. that's why CHW is not a play, they are under .500 at home and have an overall under .500 record.Comment -

#815Maybe I am misreading this..if so excuse me...if not...variations of the chase have been around forever... The version it seems you are saying you "set up" has been around forever. Back in the 70's a friend of mine introduced me to chasing... The version used here which is one of the most basic...was used back then by several people I knew. A guy that went by the name "Red" was the first one I saw using it. I actually lost over 30 units on a series back then when the brewers were still in the AL playing Texas... Since then...I have modified worked with many versions of chases... just wanted to clarify what you are saying here..hopefully you are not claiming to have invented this version...Comment -

#817I don't know what to tell you G...... I have not seen this system posted elsewhere nor was I following anyone that I had seen post it when I backtested in extensively and posted it last year on another site. It would not surprise me if others have had similar ideas as far as chase systems go and others may have done similar things in the past, I don't know... The name of this system and thread stems from what I started doing last year. The records and units won are from my posts from last year, etc. so as far as I'm concerned I started running this system, changed to using the labby, discovered the over/under filter, etc last season and On3 has posted it on this board this year. If this is such a commonly used system why have I not seen it posted anywhere prior to me doing so. I am sure there have been variations used in the past as it is a common sense system, but if you are implying that I copied this from someone you are wrong. I have not been doing this for long, so it is very possible people used to do this and had the same idea I did when I posted it and started tracking it last year. If you can show me where it is posted and run the way we are doing please enlighten me?? Either way, we are trying to work together here to create a strong system and learn as we go to make adjustments to maximize profits, everything else is irrelevant.
Seriously a -150 chase and you think you invented it...please... The o/u filter I am not familar with...but over the years most of the filters have been applied...and believe me this one is nothing new...chases have been around a long time...a very long time... I lost 30 units on a weekend series involving a home chase using a -150 filter introduced to me in the 70's since then I worked for a long time to develop my two headed monster that wins every year...but I would never claim it is my own...more just a modification using filters....(which I am always adjusting and branching out other systems from)like I said chases are as old as can be...took me a while to get those 30 units back after that weekend...Comment -
