Hey XXX, So am I read'in this right man, there's no points awarded for qualifying? You have to place in future rounds in order win points?

I noticed that you had earlier supplied the following
overall standings on notepad;

mlbmadness_april18.txt

for those that wanted to look up overall standings but were unable to open your excel file of overall standings.Will that option be available again throughout he remainder of these qulification rounds?Thanks.

now that you have qualifyied you can re-enter a qualifying round and get points if you finish top 3.

Then why in the little side panel on the contest page does it say I won 98 pts? The pts were awarded and then taken away. I don't get it. Why are the point prizes for 1-10 posted if they're not going to be awarded?

SBR software calculates points automatically. Nothing i can do to remove this.

all points reversed by sbr in qualifying rounds will be distributed in the following way

prize structure is as follows;

please read contest format;

* 64-man tourney begins august 8 2011
* need to qualify
* 4sbr pts to join a qualification round (17 rounds)
* top 3 of each round qualify for tourney (no points )
* if you qualify and re-enter a qualifying round and finish in top 3 then 1rst place 125pts, 2nd place 75pts, 3rd place 50pts.
* you can also qualify to the tourney if you fully participate (35required picks) in at least 12 of 17 qualifying rounds and finish top 12 overall standings.
* Top 10 overall in standings and fully participate (35required picks) in at least 12 of 17 qualifying rounds will get points. (points to be determined)

prizes* for august 8 tourney:

1rst place ...............1500 sbr points
2nd place ................800 sbr points
3rd-4th place.............400 sbr points
5th-8th place...............200 sbr points
9th- 16th place ...........100 sbr points
17th-32nd place...........60 sbr points

* theses sbr points prizes are guaranteed but can increase
* note that all prize pts winners during the qualifying rounds will be reversed by SBR
*note that all prize pts will be given at the end of the tourney

i have to ask one thing, Shall i play on all games? Both ML and Totals? Or can i play only totals or ML? Newbe question but i could not find it in the first post! I have to play all 35 games but must it be on both ML and Totals?
