does doubling on a team until they win work
i've noticed philly...d-backs and the cards have not lost more than two games in a row all season...why not keeping doubling on one of those teams for example until they win...looks like u won't have to wait long for a win...seems like sure money...picking teams randomly seems very risky ...does anyone use this theory? i'm going to give it a try starting tonite with the cards...all thoughts are welcome

You could make it through a whole season and not get burned by this, or you could get burned by this next week. Make no mistake, when you do get burned the pain will be intense. My question is, why not stick to sound bankroll management and handicapping? It seems that the only people who would do this are those who don't have time -or simply don't know how- to cap games.

at that point its all luck no analysis at all.... you might get lucky and have a team win 20+ in a row like the rockets!! (if u did ML) idk if u are just takin games by GUT feeling and u arnt capping them i guess try it :-X might get lucky or find a solid guy to follow and prac picking games and play your selections at half unit while u play the guy u are following at what ever he rates his or her plays. That is how i started... but hey just a suggestion!

I've been making paper plays on a dd system with the Yanks and DBacks since the beginning of the year. So far I would be up $3,609 going for a $100 profit per game. A nasty losing streak though and it's all over but then again, what's the chances of a "top" team losing 10 in a row anyway?

Granted it's very unlikely that a top team will lose 10 in a row, and practically impossible if they have lost like 3 in a row on the road and are coming home for a long homestand, but that doesnt mean when they win, you win also. remember that -1.5 runline can be a pain in the ass. what happens if a team loses 4 in a row, then finally come through with a 1 pt. win in extra innings; even though your team won you still lost cause they didn't win by the required 2 runs.

I've been making paper plays with money lines only. I've never been a huge fan of run lines. Playing with moneylines seems to be working well, especillay since the juice on these games hasn't been 2 bad. Only 1 play so far this year with juice above -200. Most have been in the -140 to -160 range.

I think you can really lose your shirt going with a dd system with runlines but money lines seems the way to go. I'm testing the system this year and will probably play it next year if I like what I see. Most of us know of at least 2 teams that will win 85+ games each year.... Mets, Red Sox, Yankees, Phillies, Indians, Angels, etc.

I think playing 2 teams for the whole year one could make a profit of $8500 + per team for the year with bets placed to win $100. Of course you could also wager for $50 wins and still make $8500 + for the entire season but of course it comes down to how large your bankroll is.
