I'm all for you picking randomly out of a hat. I prefer to know where I will be drafting from a head of time so I have no problems with it.

18 points transfered already still have to pay another 37 points. Still 14 days still draft day so I will have the majority of the points paid before the draft. If I don't miss a day then I calculated I will owe around 11 points after the draft which I will still continue to transfer.

Chronic, we've got 12, but should anyone decide to not play, I'll come to you first. If you want to keep 55 points free until the 26th, you'll be our alternate. I'll keep you updated via PM should anything change.

22 points transfered thus far. I've noticed will filled with 12 guys but theres only 11 guys signed up already. Who is the last guy still remaining, Hoosier?

Jorge1 is the last guy I believe and has only paid 24 of the 55 points. He's transferred over 1000 points to the sports book in the past year, so hopefully he has the rest of the points available. I sent him a PM though and told him he needs to pay by Wednesday or we will find someone to take his spot.

We still have just under 2 weeks before draft time and a couple of alternates if jorge doesn't post points, so I'm not worried.

Again, if anybody still wants to play but aren't one of the 12 players already in the league, leave a message and I'll get back to you if someone backs out. The draft is scheduled for Saturday the 26th still at 3pm CT.

By the looks of it Jorge1 hasn't posted since last Tuesday so who knows if he'll be able to attend the draft and what not. I say you guys send the 24 points back to Jorge and we take the guarantee guy Chronic since hes able to pay the 55 right now and he seems pretty eager too join so thats always good.

Its your call in the end but I say we take the guy that eager to play over a guy who only shows up once a week. No offense to Jorge but just my 2 cents.

Send Jorge1 back his 24 points or however many he paid. If Chronic can show he has the 55 points and able to post up tomorrow then give him the final spot and the field of 12 is set. The sooner we have the field of 12 set the sooner you can do the random draw of where each of us will be drafting.

But like I mentioned its your call in the end

Jorge situation is up to Hoosier...he is commissioner this year and not me. I'm just in charge of points. If he doesn't care enough to come back and let us know, take Chronic or whoever is next and line, and he can lose his 24 points to cover the rake we've lost through all this points transferring both now and for the final, as a penalty for not getting back to us and leaving us hanging.

W/e you want Hoosier is up to you for the Jorge/Chronic situation.

I say we use his points to cover rake, ya. I remember last year we came up a few points short, so that sounds like a good idea.

Best fantasy league on SBR by far. As I've said before, it is ultra competitive, and will be tough sledding to be in playoffs!! Good luck.

I'm really looking forward to this, as a newbie to fantasy MLB, i know i will have a learning curve to start with, but if i sneak into the playoffs i plan on making some noise. LOL, I just ask one thing, i think all members this year should have first chance to play again next season. Just one quick question, when we have the draft is there a budget to buy players?( from what i read it looks like 1st come 1st serve). Thanks guys for setting this up.

Carolina, that is in an auction draft. Those things are a lot of fun to play in (you can get basically whichever players you want, so it's pretty fun since you can implement any strategy you can think of), but this league is not an auction league. team1 will pick first, then team 2, team 3, and so on until team 12. Then team 12 has the thirteenth pick, team 11 has the fourteenth and so on.

and so forth. This type of draft is known as a Snake draft (the pattern "snakes" back and forth)
