A quick q if you don't mind, as this is the 1st time I've ever bet MLB. My online book has asked if I wanted to bet with the 2 listed starting pitchers or 1 of the 2 must start, or action. Which of these options would you advise to take?

Fot what it's worth - my approach is:

When the specific pitching matchup (both guys) is the principle basis for a selection, I'll do the same and list both pitchers.

But sometimes the key to the play is taking my pitcher vs a given lineup. I want him no matter who takes the mound for the opposition - in which case I'll list only my guy.

Of course, the opposite is true if the main driver for the play is my lineup vs a specific pitcher. I want to fade that pitcher no matter who we have on the bump so I list only the opposing pitcher.

Finally, when it's not the starting pitching but the total team dynamic on one or both sides that is the basis for my play - I'll make it an "action" play because I want my club no matter what the mound matchup might be.

The big thing to remember about doing anything but listing both pitchers, however, is that you are at the mercy of the book in terms of getting a fair price. They'll change the price on any pitching change and you get what you get.
