pedro was just as good in 2002 and the red sox were 2nd only behind new york in r/g that year; pedro won only 20 games. a team knows when their ace is on the mound and in a lot of times the offense "takes the day off" and doesn't get enough run support to get the win. also the opposing pitcher knows he or she needs to be on their game so they show up that day. i'd say 20 is totally doable and he would need a lot of luck and or help to get to 25 on any team.
