Let's see we are in a severe depression, unemployment at 10%, banks failing left and right, two wars with no end in site and congress wastes time on this shit.

Don't lie to Congress! He actually let his wife take the fall. If they put Marian Jones in jail, Roger is going too.

Clemens sucks but lets move past this a majority of players used steroids and many are still on HGH. Its a baseball issue our Govt has enough to deal with.

the white hair bastards have nothing better to do up there? another 500k peeps filed for unemployment this week and they are worried about a former pitcher not telling them what they want to hear in a stupid steroid hearing. our hard earned tax dollars at work for this type of stupidity. and they wonder why we have nearly a trillion dollar deficit. the federal prosecutors will waste millions trying this case and for what? not a damn thing other than to smear the character of one of the best pitchers in mlb history. lets not forget that half of baseball was doing the same thing over that timeframe. it never ceases to amaze me.

I agree. Much more pressing issues at hand. Stop wasting time on Bonds and Clemens. My state doesn't have a budget, issues furloughs and IOUs. Have a meeting about that congress.

The money the prosecutors make come from tax payers. Also he became a better pitcher because he developed a split finger fastball and knew players were using steroids and hgh . He did not pitch more innings or pitch faster then he did in his last 5 years, not even close

Congress is trying to divert public attentions away from Obama's comment regarding the Muslim mosque near ground Zero. Politicians are a bunch of dirt bag that should be indicted for lying to the nation. But that would never happen. Stop wasting tax payers' money Congress.

Lock his lying ass up and throw away the key. He's tried to pin his steriod use on everyone around him including his own wife. What a piece of trash. The most damning testimony will be that of Andy Petitte, dude doesnt lie and came clean about his own usage. Very credible witness, can wait for Clemens to say Petitte "misheard" what he confided in him again.

This kind of indictment might discourage other players from using steroids; give him ten years of hard labor.

Not that I like either Roger or Bill Clinton but isn't it zany and far out that if a meaningless in the scheme of things pitcher lies about taking roids, his perjury may land him in jail for 30 years. When the president of the United States perjured himself over lying about sexual harrassment,he got zero time in jail.I guess we have 2 different standards of people being equal in this country.Maybe someone should expose this form of discrimination to the democrats who are always screaming about racism.

Whether Congress is right or wrong here is immaterial - Clemens only has himself to blame.

Funny how congress can lie to us about WMD in Iraq resulting in millions of deaths and 1.3 trillion down the shitter and nothing happens to them. But Oh fukken no somebody lies about steroids in a stupid ass game and all hell needs to be let loose.
