Don't think Glaus will play often at 3b when he comes back. He will be a bench/role player. Prado/Infante will be at 3b the rest of the year. It's even possible Glaus won't get another ab on the Braves.

Spot on. You gotta keep the bats in the lineup. Glaus is just not getting it done, doesn't matter why. It's about winning ballgames now and the braves best chance is with Glaus out of the lineup.

Braves will definitely make the playoffs. Even if Philly catches them they will get in via wildcard before the Giants or the Cards. They are 5 games ahead of Cards and 4.5 ahead of Giants. They have best record at home in MLB with 21 games at home and 21 games away. Of the 21 away, 18 are against teams that simply aren't going to make the playoffs. Braves will make the playoffs.

He's actually pitched much better lately, with the exception of today of course. I entered the season with the same opinion on Lowe as you have, but he's changed my mind within the last six weeks or so. Still the weakest starter on our team, but I can't complain
with the way he's pitched recently.
