Cubs +140 on Monday

I think the trap is Big Z! NOthing, Absolutely nothing points to Cubs turning it around tonight (at least to me...my opinion, and i respect other's opinions as well)

I think of it this way, is it easy to go through all those anger problems, all the media hype, all the personal problems for Z and come out the FIRST GAME and have a good game, specially with the support of a SUCKY TEAM??? if he had another club backing him, with good batting, with good energy coming into this game, yeah, but the CUBS? no..

the trap is that at 144+ it looks like good value while still making the cubs look like they have a chance. if the like was +180, everyone would be scared off, IMO...

These little +130, +140 lines are the fishy ones, in my opinion...Sometimes they point towards a team being better or in a better position than they actually are.

sure Bumgarner is coming off two loses, but to whom? to UBALDO JIMENEZ and ANIBAL SANCHEZ...two of the best in the league..
Big Z hasnt pitched since june 25th, and even when he was pitching they WERE LOSING GAMES.. He has 4 wins in the last 9 outtings.

Cubs are on a crazy losing streak, while giants have been decent. they lost the last week or so, but were definetely on a tough road trip..ATLANTA? that is a tough trip.

Final point of view for this game: Zambrano is erradic (at best), and Giants look at the cubs as their chance to turn the last losing week around...they played a tough schedule last couple games and the cubs will be a layup.

at -154 against one of the worst clubs in MLB (currently), its not a bad wager. I might consider the -1 line better...

Can't you say the same regarding a trap line for the Giants? Why isn't it higher? 70% are on them and the line has barely budged. How are cubs bettors being trapped if 70% are on the Giants?

it is a trap on both ends...everyone laying money on sf and stats-wise big z has been dominate over sf. if this was any other team except the cubs i would the cash on the +140. this is basically a pick'em game because you dont know which big z is coming to the park!!!!!!

agreed it is a weird line on both sides but that's not going to stop me from taking the obvious
seen it so many times people to talk themselves off of the clear cut pick yelling the 'trap', simple as that

if giants lose not too much of a loss as the juice wasn't that bad anyway

I dunno anymore man..to me, line looks fishy. If cubs win, congrats to you buddy. really, great faith on cubs from your end..but i think SFO takes this easily. BOL either way

this is a huge play for me on the cubs
some on the cubs' team are packing it in but you certainly can't say that about zambrano at this point - he's pitching for his career and when he's fired up he's at his best

i'm pretty sure those anger management classes made him MORE angry

Cubs are the play. S.F. returns from road trip, Zam. is 5-1 with a 2.80 ERA vs. the Giants, and change of venue will help the CUBS.

I don't think I like a side in this one. On a side note SF is 6-2 in the first game back at home from a road trip this season. Call me crazy but I think the best play for this game is un7.5. SF bats have gone cold the past 10 games, I think its .120 & the Scrubs are only hitting .247 against lefties their last 10. I think Z shows up & this game is decided by the bullpens late in the game.

you should just avoid betting the Cubs...why do people continually bet teams involved in losing streaks?

I guess it looks good if once in a while the worst team breaks a losing streak and wins...but that is so rare...the one out of five wins like this will not win dollar wise...

Thy now have lost four in a row... I usually consider it a losing streak once it hits three... But not sure if you are aware they are 1-9 their last 10... I usually avoid teams that are not winning at all... but hey to each his own.. good luck...take care....
