Zambrano is a tough wager right now. He did come in and have a somewhat nervous relief appearance vs Milwaukee late last week. He got out of that jam, though.

Hard to play a team that has packed it in already, Cubs looked awful trying to avoid a sweep by the Reds. They were messing up routine plays left and right, and I don't think Big Lou is making the trip to San Fran. Also, has Big Z gained the respect of his teammates back? We shall see.

Line definitely looks a little high, but the Cubs have just been downright atrocious lately. I would lay off. This game is probably a better one for the run line IMO.

I hope its not the case since others will pound the shiit out of the giants today, but i think this game might bury people. Cubs suck but they wont go winless for the redt of the year. This is possibly the most winnable game of the series for the cubs. Let's see how the line moves

Piniella was leaving the team for at least a few days to visit his mother in Tampa, Fla. He hopes to rejoin the Cubs at some point on the six-game trip to San Francisco and St. Louis.

Chicago has lost 10 of 11 after falling 11-4 to Cincinnati on Sunday and winding down a trying season. The retiring Piniella also missed three games recently to attend his uncle’s funeral.
