The Minnesota Twins are 25-26 on the road this season and are heavy favorites to beat the Kansas City Royals who are 20-27 at home. The Twins have a better than 55% chance of winning based on 10,000 game simulations generated one play at a time by the AccuScore Simulation Supercomputer. Twins' starter Brian Duensing is forecasted to have a better game than Twins' starter Brian Bannister. Brian Duensing has a 57% chance of having a Quality Start (QS) while Brian Bannister has a 47% chance of a QS. If Brian Duensing has a quality start the Twins has a 77% chance of winning. His simulated strikeout to walk ratio is 2.7 and he has a 20% chance of having a 5 to 1 K/BB ratio. When he has a 5/1 ratio the Twins win 69%. In Brian Bannister quality starts the Royals win 60%. He has a 12% chance of having a 5 to 1 K/BB ratio and if he does his team wins 60% of simulations. In simulations we tracked the batter for each team that was most productive based his average hits, walks and RBI per simulation. The most productive batter for the Kansas City Royals is Billy Butler who averaged 1.93 hits+walks+RBI. He has a 30% chance of having a big game with 3+ Hits, Walks, RBI and if he has a big game the Royals have a 57% chance of winning. The most productive batter for the Minnesota Twins is Joe Mauer who averaged 2.34 hits+walks+RBI. He has a 40% chance of having a big game with 3+ Hits, Walks, RBI and if he has a big game the Twins have a 76% chance of winning.

The Royals are just too hard to predict. I would never bet on or against them. They might score 3 or 10 runs in any given night. It's funny how they have team BA of 280 and they still are in medium compared to other teams in scoring runs. I guess the team is full with double and single hitters. I drafted Billy Butler in my Fantasy team and all he hits for is double and average all year. The guy never turned into power hitter like they hoped to.
