Dempster's been solid at night, but I think the Cards will score 3-4 without question. Albert has a big night IMHO.

oh no doubt, injuries really hurt him and he isnt getting any younger, still has great stuff but has lost a few mph....not sure if it much different mentality between Waino and Carp anymore, you can see that same thing in Wainwrights eyes as in Carps...Carp has always been one of the fiercest competitors around and refuses to except anything short of excellence, more and more you see the exact things in Wainwright...i certainly dont wanna argue which one i rather have pitching in a big game, im just glad they both in STL.....

i liked Drew for a while until it got obvious he a whiny little bitch, but in the end i really liked him because of him we got one of the best pitchers in the game...

I can't bitch.. Atl has made many more good trades than bad ones. JJ was stolen from Tigers along with Infante for Edgar Renteria.LOL That was a fukkin heist.

                      Wainwright will only get better.

Especially after Lincecum was teaching him about his best pitch at the all star game.

Once he perfects that in time, he will be unstoppable

Other than that, I don't see much to get excited about. I think I'll take the White Sox because their SP is going to be a good one and I hate Dallas Braden, but that line seems to be luring me in. Why is Braden -145?

Back to this subject.. It may have something to do with A's winning like 28 out of last 34 at home while playing Chi.

Whatever, the reason's I agree with you. It is high, but like NBA when things don't make sense it is profitable over time going the other the way.

I see no good reason to lay that # which increases the liklihood of OAK winning,.

NC, kinda like in the NBA when you see... say Bucks -11.5 at home to Sac? Looks high but Bucks will cover.

hard not to like SD again, i know overall LeBlanc numbers on the road are not great but that is mainly do to a brutal outing in sea of all places, also got a little touched up in TB and Col but lets face it pit is none of those teams, he has had very good road starts against some quality teams and i dont see him struggling with pit....

I live about an hour and a half from St. Louis. I'm a solid Redbird fan. Just got a bad feeling the Cubbies win. Gut feel.

From the second this series started when the announcers kept talking about Carpenter v.s. dempster I thought what a great situation to take the cards if they lose. After dropping 2 games to the cubs I thought wow what a treat....then like 2dabank I got sick when I saw it was sunday night baseball. Every tom square and harry is going to be on the cardinals sunday night.....**** that.

Glad u mentioned duncan. What a great pitching coach. He impresses me as a braves fan because with exception of carp and wainwright, he hasnt had nearly as much talent to work with as mazzone did, yet he churns out good pitching staffs every year. Hard to believe all bravos got for wainwright was shitball jd drew, who was basically a rental, and eli marrero. Yikes.

                                                FINAL CARD:

                                                StL -120
                                                PHI -134
SF -142 (though I don't like the line direction at all)
                                                TOR (Game 1) -114

DIDN'T MAKE THE CUT BUT I STILL SEE VALUE:
