it is run by a good group of guys who volunteer their time to bring handicapping competition daily and they maintain the rules stringently.

any ruling breaking is strictly to the discretion of the guys who run it. its more an un-official sbr handicapping thread.

Yeah but I guess my point with it is that there is more integrity in that record than in anyones " keep their own record" crap.

I would no sooner believe someone on this board posting their record than I would a tout who claims to be + 500 units.

Shit its easy to be + units when you are making your own rules, so I go on a bad streak and lose for 2 weeks playing 2 units per play, now I am down 25 units, guarantee my next play is going to be for 25 units to get me even, if I lose its 50 units, snd so on.

I have seen that crap done by posters thousands of times.


SBR Best bet thread is the only real deal because

-all plays must be posted before game time

-real lines must be used

-1 unit per play, no raising units when you're down

-record actually kept by someone else

If someone says he is +10.58 units in that thread, then he is.

If someone says he is keeping his own numbers and he is +10.58 units, I really really doubt it.


So to me

#1 SBR Proven Capper is BeattheJerk, #2 SBR Proven Capper is Shortstop and so on.
