Yeah Jimenez and Lester are the plays today. I'm just watching the lines right now. Jimenez is down to -142 right now. Keeping my eye on it. Lest is now up to -195. It's moving up right now but hopefully people will jump on the Mariners and move the line lower. I'll post a complete list of the pitchers I'm using in just a bit. I think there is like 10 or 11 total, but that includes Pettite who is on the DL.Comment -

Ubaldo couldn't have sucked worse today. He is not the pitcher he started out to be earlier in the year. today he couldn't get anyone out and couldn't even throw a strike. He walked 6 and gave up 6 in just 2 innings of work. It's the middle of the 4th right now but this game is over. Here's the update record.

There were 2 plays yesterday but I didn't make either. I felt sick as shit all day and didn't really bet anything. Also, Hughes was -280 against O'Sullivan who had just beat him a week earlier when he was with the Angels. I wasn't about to risk $60 to make $22 or whatever. Carpenter was also a play and also won. Most of the pitchers are pretty consistent but of course guys can always come out and have issues. Wainwright was terrible last night. He had his worst game of the season. Johnson lost because the Marlins offense sucks and he had an off night for him. Even though he wasn't bad he didn't pitch the way he usually does. Sabathia is just up and down. The Yankees offense produced nothing for him last night. You just have to keep some things in mind. The most consecutive losses that any of the guys in this system has had this year is 3. Also, the guys always get those losses back plus profit for each game. You just have to be willing to bet them, even with the juice. You bankroll of course has a lot to do with how many games you are willing to chase a particular guy. The juice does of course suck balls but what can you really do about it. You really can't pick and choose or you aren't really playing the system.

A couple different angles of this might include some filters such as must be in top 15 in wins, era, and so on... Other things could include the team itself...must be above.500, must be home, or other filters that might show this to be a stronger system... But I like this idea... But with the fav pitchers always will be playing with tough odds...Comment -
All the pitchers have low ERAs and are strong in the win department. They also play for teams that that do have very good offenses. Most of the guys are the originals from the start of the system and I did a small writeup on those guy on the first page and why they were picked.Comment -
The Jimenez line finally has come down. It was as high as -295. It's currently -250. That would still make it a $119 bet tho. I can't play that. Jimenez has an ERA of 7+ over his last 6 starts. That is the highest in the NL in this time. Also, the Rockies are struggling bad. They have lost 8 straight. Instead of trying to get that much back on him, i want to just chip away at his losses (-$32.67). I just can't risk $119 on him and his team the way they are struggling. We wouldn't be in this position if they hadn't lost 2 starts ago. They were at Florida and had a 1 run lead with 2 outs in the 9th when Florida hit a 2 run hr walk off.Comment -

The first 2 are: Hughes @ -110. $24.20 to win $22. I was supposed to play Hughes last Sunday but I was sick and didn't bet any. That really sucks because he won and this would have been a smaller bet. Going up against the Rays here and I hope the Hughes shuts them down!
Next is Lester at -240. I hate this line. I can't bet $43 on Lester to win just $19. Instead i have risked $19.20 to win $8. I will try to get the rest later on.
