The problem with running a chase on prop bets (1st inning score YES/NO), is that those bets usually have a $250 or $500 limit so if your playing with any kind of a significant bankroll you will never really be able to place those game #'s 5,6, especially 7. I suggest that you check out the limits ahead of time or make sure you have money in several different books that offer these props so you know for sure that you can lay the amount you will need to satisfy those later games in your martingale.

Seems like every few months someone comes along with a "new" Martingale system and high hopes... and weeks later they've hit the inevitable final bet loss for all the marbles. GL though.

I tried the ** system on an online roulette that let you spin without betting... I'd wait til red or black hit 8 times in a row, then I'd start the first bet on the opposite color for a 7 bet chase. I mean, no way can the same color hit 15 times in a row right? Blammo, bankrupt.

There is a madness behind my reasoning....However I did pass on this game as the line was -160 But since the prop did loose tonight with the Padres scoring. it only gets more enticing considering the last time these 2 played the prop was 3-0 and since opening day Padres have only scored in the 1st 7 times (3 times in last 4 games) while allowing their opposition to score 5 times. on the other side the Giants have only scored 5 times while yielding a 1st inning score 12 times. I also only chase 2 additional plays if all 3 plays loose I take my lumps and start over.

I did place 2 plays yesterday that was 2-0 and 2 today which went 0-1 with one being canceled. and yes I will be chasing the yankee's and Boston prop tomorrow

they are posted on the forum and documented cant seem to get the link to work though

Well, it seems you are doing some decent homework on these games...are you also laying straight bets down with a more traditional approach?

When I ran my chase back in 2007, I pretty much stuck to 1st 5 inn totals, this way I would maximize the amount of bets I could place in a single day and at the same time avoid those irritating limits because there are enough reputable books out there that will let you play $500 to $1000 on the 1st 5 innings. It worked out well because a lot of the time I was able to quickly make a move to my next game if say a total went over in the first inning or two.

I would also play every game straight with a separate bankroll to sort of insure that I wasn't just betting to bet...It helped me keep myself to only making plays I felt were strong...in addition I never laid more than -1.30

they are my martingale chase games except the run line and Money line play which was a response to your question about traditional plays.

as you can see all 3 1st inning plays won on the 1st try

some days I have none other days I have several depends on my charts and research. I only have one chase in progress right now that is on the Yankees no score first inning which my chart tells me I am about 70% chance to win tonight and if it looses will be around 85-90% to win tomorrow. most all my 1st inning chases end in the 1st or 2nd game. I have not lost 3 in a row yet and have only been in that position 2 times both ending in winners... knock on wood.

are you using any filters... or just picking games that look good..? cause if your simply picking games that look good that is probably why all your chases are going to 5 and 6 games... fade your own picks to ensure shorter chases!~
