No i bet on TB both times but i still made very good money on that series.


Scalped is when bettors are taking action on both sides and trying to grind out a profit. It happened in TB/Tex game 5 as well.


Im not betting against Lee neccessarily but betting the spot . The yanks are a dog at home and the books are getting more action on the road favored rangers. Perfect spot to take the yanks.

ok, so scalped is like an arb thanks for the clarification. I have been riding Lee this playoffs and so far so good but seems like a lot of people are waiting on him have a letdown and it hasn't happened yet and with his track record at Yankee Stadium the books have no chance but to make the Rangers the favorite.

It is kinda crazy that the Yankees are underdogs at home during the playoffs with Pettite going who has great postseason success. This is the Yankees we are talking about, the most winning team in MLB history and they are underdogs at home.

The line says a lot though with the Rangers as favorites, almost begging people to take the Yankees at home with a successful/experienced Pettite on the mound at plus money. There are great arguments for both sides but if Lee doesn't pitch a complete game then...Yankees have a strong edge. Good luck with your play.

Yanks RRL looks good. Yanks hardly win their home games by less than 2 runs. They should be able solve Lee in NY and then feast on the Texas bullpen.

I'm so happy to see how Pettitte is so underated here.

I agree with the Yankees pick. Cliff Lee has been lights out in the post season and dominant in Yankee stadium. I have watched the interviews with the Yanks about Lee and they are saying the right things but you can tell they are tired of hearing about Lee owning them and owning the postseason. Cliff Lee is definitely on the Yankess radar and I think after studying game film they will make the necessary adjustments and get to Lee tonite. Cliff Lee has been so dominant and hyped so much he has become the popular pick tonite against a puplic team that has alot of pride and a lot of talent. I have watched Lee pitch many times and he is very good, but he does not walk on water. I think the Yanks work him enough to grind out at bats and reach a high enough pitch limit in a close ball game that is turned over to the Rangers bullpen in the 7th inning and definitely in the 8th. If this is the case you have to like the Yanks and that is exactly the way I see it playing out.

You've been smacking your lips a tad too much. Your Giants came out of the 2nd weakest division in the majors this year and it took the 162nd game to clinch a postseason spot. Think back when the Sixers took game 1 from the Lakers, then lost 4 straight. Well, it's payback time.

Think I'm going to take the over though. Too much action here on the under and the line isn't moving. Doesn't seem right for a line-movement amateur like me.
