And I'll take Cole over Cain any day, he took apart the powerful Reds lineup in Cincy & a WS MVP, he threw the best stuff out of both Roys against Cincy. Did you ever play organized baseball LB, if you did you know that one game like this with a power line up is all they need. Ryan hit the ball well tonight, Shane made contact, as did others and that's what brings the bats back into this line up. It's a 5 game series, you think Doc's losing again? Yeah right! I never said anywhere I thought Phils would sweep, hell it can go 7 for all I care. When the bats start making contact, and the Phils get on base, and then the steals come this team is nearly impossible to beat and their record shows that. Offensively & defensively!

Take away Ross, you got nothing.

Normally I'm pretty calm during games but I'd kissed that bet goodbye already and then when it looked like it had a chance of pushing by a miracle I was starting to get strung out. Between that and the Colts fumble fest it's been a stressful couple of hours.

You're not one of the people who thinks the entire city of Philadelphia booed Donovan McNabb on draft day, are you? As for the series, Game 3 is huge. Hamels has the playoff experience and appears to be in '08 postseason form but you never know. Cain is a very solid pitcher and I expect him to have a strong outing. It's gonna be another game that comes down to who gets a key hit late in the game and in that case it's basically a coinflip. Normally, most people would take the Phils in that situation because of the names in their lineup, but if Rollins doesn't get that hit tonight we would have had another terrible night with the bats. GL though and can't wait for Tuesday afternoon.

fair enough bro but i just call it like i see it and talk about what i hear..i do not live in philly and never will just like i dont live in boston or new york and never will so it doesnt matter to me what philly is like or any other place for that matter..the only time i care and comment about other places is when its sports related and there are a lot of classless "A" holes there..im a believer in just playing the game and may the best team win.

Yes i played baseball but we had a shitty team every year that couldnt hit or throw strikes. I was the only one who knew how to get on base. I would get hit by the pitch every time.

Phils will win the series but i think they lose game 3 and win the next 3. Thats my opinion but you have some good points.

I would say play the total then. You cant beat Lee bro. The guy is a stud but maybe the yanks are sick about hearing of him and come thru. All i know is i would take my chances with Pettitte. Almost every time the yanks have needed him to get a big win in the playoffs in his career he has come thru.

missed your earlier picks LB looks like you pushed i was myself close to making a play on the under but i tried that yesterday so i just stuck with phils ml i liked it early than when paco liked it i was all over it. gonna do my best to get your insight on tomorrows game i'm at a total loss cause somethings gotta give: lee or yankees at home? i can rack my brain all day and end up back where i started... clueless

LB, you baseball story reminds me of one of mine. In LL I played with Johnny Marzano (RIP), his dad was our coach. Well, one game I struck out but the catcher drops the ball, I run to first, the throw sails over the 1st baseman's head, same thing happens as I'm rounding the bases over the 3rd baseman's head.....My first homerun on a strike out.

These are the 2 best teams in the NL, with 2 of the best rotations in the majors in a 5 game series. I'm hoping the Phils bats are getting hot at the right time and Cole does what he's been doing. I feel good going to SF, and yes, I know I'm a homer, but this team pulls some crazy shit out of the hat over the past 3 years.
