You should examine Scherzer numbers against Cleveland and away.

he did pitch poorly against cleveland this year but against CWS and ATL (2 very good teams) he pitched pretty well although the tigers lost both of them but his numbers werent bad...im going with the better team and not gonna let 1 game against cleveland this year sway me from taking detroit here...what does bother me is that paco is going with cleveland which i cant fully understand...

I like the Phillies today too. As stated above I also believe they will tie this series up. In his career Lily has really struggled against the Phillies, and as bad of a pitcher as Joe Blanton is...he has a career ERA of 2.75 vs. the cubs and pitched 7 solid innings last time he faced them.

everything tells me to take the phillies but im not seeing much love for it(which is probably a good thing though)...im well aware its not the only play out there today but i think its a good play...lilly hasnt faired well at all against the phillies and i dont see that changing today...hes gotten absolutely crushed as of late..if some are making a play on cleveland because they beat scherzer once why not play the phillies who have blasted lilly in the past and he has been really bad lately?...im already on the over for the game

you can take a dog -1.5 instead of the normal +1.5 or you can take a fav at +1.5 instead of -1.5. Odds adjusted obviously.

There are also props for -2.5/+2.5 run but I don't think you call those RRL
