The national league has the better pitching staff. Don't get me wrong, both teams are stacked, they're all all stars, but I think the national league has the edge here. Good hitters can be neutralized by good pitching. This is what happens tonight. NL and under.

nl will most likely go with jimenez, johnson, and halladay for 2 innings each and bring in lincecum if something goes wrong...i was leaning the al but not sure now...that pitching will be tough to beat...im thinking now that nl finally wins

Angels stadium is a pretty fair park. The marine layer doesn't get as thick as dodgers stadium at night but it does hold a lot of HRs in the park at night. this game starts at 5pm pacific so it technically won't be a true night game.

Think about ulbaldo hitting 97 mph on his regular starts. He knows he'll only be in there for 2 innings, the dood will maybe hit triple digits with movement. Then JJ, then Halladay, then Tim. NL just has too much pitching this year.

Most of the time i would agree with you Tommy but i have been watching these all star games for years and i see no reason why anyone would want to fade a situation that has been winning ( AL) year after year. There is no reason to take the NL other than hoping they win and then looking like a smart guy after. I hope the yanks regulars will make sure the american league wins cause we want home field in the series.
