#27236What's up Paco (and friends). I'm new to the site and sports forums in general. I'm a big baseball fan and want to try and make some dough during the rest of the season. I see this is a thread that gets a ton of visitors so I'm assuming something is going well here. I hope to offer some good info as well as receive good info. GL to everyone.Comment -

#27241Thanks Paco, Pauul, and MT. I was just on NC thread and mentioning how I was strongly leaning on the Reds. I love backing rookie pitchers making their career debut. I find value in backing those guys. Today I backed Texas and Arizona solely based off of that and it paid off.Comment -

#27246Absolute, I completely agree; With all these new pitchers starting off great, it makes me really want to take the reds tomorrow. I am just concerned with the -dog money. Why are they not the favorites? I mean, i understand - silva, home field advantage, and a new reds pitcher we haven't seen, but still? I feel like the Reds should still be the favs. I hope I don't walk into a trap if I decide to go that route.Comment -

#27249Thanks LAker714, I just visited the diesel thread. Seems to be a lot of animosity towards him. I wonder why?
jonahmad, I feel ya, to be honest, aside from the reds at home, i hate betting on the NL central. they are so inconsistent. I think people are over valuing Silva to based on record, era, and whip. It maybe a trap, but at least im not laying juice on it.
Paco, Thanks for the input. ima check it out. and what up with wisegrumpy thread, i mean i wanna see his thread, but i cant open that ish when my wife is walking around. hahaComment -

#27251Won a few parlays, nothing to get excited about. Hope you had a good day Paco. I really like San Diego and Cleveland tomorrow. I don't think NYY has been swept this year, so I will probably include them in a parlay. Gonna go catch up on the thread, good luck everyone!Originally posted by melia26Did some parlays today with Cubs, Braves, KC, and a few others, I couldn't find a strong recovery play for today. Won with Boston recovery play yesterday, but still lost big. Our luck changes today, the turban man has spoken! Good luck everyone!

#27258Ok, just read through.
Glad the turban man helped you out tonight MT!
Oh Paco...we meet at an impasse on Toronto/Cleveland. I make a play on/against chart of each team and that produces my recovery plays. These plays have done very well so far, I haven't kept track but they are in this thread almost daily. The chart shows the same outcome for Cleveland as the last 2 games. Cleveland has shown it can roll off multiple wins, and Toronto has looked anemic to say the least against these suddenly big bad giant killers. No clue if I'm right, but I feel pretty good that I took a lot of bets this evening on Toronto RL. Usually spells trouble. But then again, Mets were the big public play today, and I was on the Marlins in a parlay that hurt bad. I thought they were gonna hit a 3 run shot at the bottom 9th, but I guess the rain delay made them say fukk it we're out! Good luck, I'm taking a small shot on the Tribe!

#27264I don't follow tennis, but I know the bigger names. I walked into work today and the board showed some random cat not named Federer with **WIN** next to his name. I thought our board was wrong, so I said, Federer lost?!? And everyone's like yep. Kept hearing customers say that all day. This huge fave lost. Maybe I'll lay off Sabathia tomorrow, it feels like a sure win but you never know.Comment -

As for Federer. He wasn't good at Roland Garros, wasn't good at ATP Halle and wasn't good at Wimbledon. If you ask me, his name seems to be bigger than his play actually.Comment
