Monday evening had the Detroit River fireworks - an international event in which at least 1 million flow to downtown Detroit along the riverfront. We had a couple generators going full throttle which allowed the youngsters, and those who are young at heart, to play the Wii and PS3 without bugs (screened tent). Under one canopy we had the coolers and sound set up - played mostly our

, even got some of the white folks to stop bye and have a couple drinks with us. Some of us played cards, while a few played beer-pong until the blue boys put an end to it (they played quarters after that). Gotta say, without question this year's display was better than last. Lot of fun and hope the pictures turn out well.
