As you can imagine, I have a very complicated selection process that many have tried to determine what the days action would be only to fall on their face.

thats cool TA...we have whats called the "Good Guys" car show here at the fairgrounds with a bunch of cool cars, hot rods, trucks, bikes and shit like that...its cool to wake up in the morning and i go get my cofee and i see all these vintage cars and hot rods cruising the streets...its a cool event but it gets damn packed in our little town here

There's at least 1,000,000 people packed along Woodward when they take the 'official' count (Saturday around 5pm). To see the the cars, it's easier earlier in the week since by the time the official cruise day arrives, it's a parking lot from 4pm onward. If there are some cool vehicles around, one can get some great shots. A few years ago, there was a flat-bed picking up people giving them a draft or two while they listened to the tunes and waved to the people on the street. I must have had 6 or 7 suds that afternoon but had a great time with my better half. Are you near the Fairgrounds in which t'bred racing takes place?

I fvckin hope so. Seeing my boyz lose 3 in a row at home is brutal, especially against what I consider lesser opponents. Should cover the RL tomorrow. However the middle of my lineup has huge holes with gay rod and tex not hitting that well at all, and jeet in a slump. Be careful with the stripes...

I disagree with a strong opinion (by all means, I'm not Knockin on Ya). As of late, the Mets are on fire. Despite their lack of home run hitting, slugging percentage & on base percentage has been relatively high. Let's not disregard the fact Mike Pelfrey does indeed have one of the ERA's in the MLB today.

Hughes does have Strong Strike Out Potential, but the Yankees inability to provide Run Support may very well lead to the downfall of tomorrow's game. You said it yourself, both Teixeira & A-Rod are Slumpin hard at the plate. For the sake of the Yankees, these two gotta snap out of it.

As a Mets fan, I'm gonna ride this winning streak. Mets MoneyLine (+165), Mets Runline +1 1/2 (-130), Mets Alternate RunLine -1 1/2 (+1??).

im just messin around...i think i have it figured out...the amount of dollar signs are just the unit size right?...i went to the first page one time to see your symbol list but havent studied it enough...i think its cool though...its a unique way of doing things and stands out......its not your everyday 1x u know

Thank you, I believe the threads need to add some color to them which they provide. Trust me, I am not 'normal' as I do things that many don't 'get' but wish they'd have tailed for the season. Prime example is from this season, this past week I got three e-mails from 'highly respected posters' wanting me to send them the daily before posting `em, to which I informed them that I don't do that - yes I send to the family and then post after getting confirmation from them and not before (unless the deadline has past - 10 minutes before the start of the game). It may not be for everyone, but it works (well) on this end.

the oakland coliseum is a joke but at&t is a beauty man...its the best one ive been to IMO and im not being biased...im an a's fan more than a giants fan...they did a really good job with that park..its phenomanal...

Sorry you got laid off MidgetTosser - the economy here is not good either -were it not for gambling ... I'll share a memory with you about old Tiger Stadium. There was a place that had the logo's for the Lions and Tigers on the outer wall. When I was less than 10, both my grandfathers, dad and myself have the upper most row, so that if/when we looked over the edge, we'd see the logo's below us. I was the lone time I was able to attend a game with both grandfathers and my dad. I also remember having "sips" of beer from them with the 'promise' not to tell grandma's or mom. One of my grandpa's had a flask and let me have a taste - I don't recall what was in there but know I got real warm inside and was able to slam my dads beer without issue. The new place is not as good in my opinion but it does provide a place for the team to play, so it works.

thats a great story TA...yeah these new parks are cool but i have a thing for the older parks like old yankee stadium, fenway, tiger stadium, and wrigley....havent been to fenway yet and didnt get a chance to go yo tiger stadium but went to old yankee stadium the last year of its existence and got to go to wrigley about ten years ago....fenway is definitely on the top of my list right now though
