The fact that a red-hot Ervin Santana might get beat by a shitty pitcher like Rowland-Smith on a shitty team like the Mariners is why baseball isn't worth sinking legitimate money into.

Sort of.

Baseball doesn't really let me get out of a rut -- seems like I'm lucky to break even daily.

OTOH, I cleaned up on Game 1 of the Finals, and parlayed the Flyers and over last night for a big hit. It was almost a relief to play those games. Baseball's a fvcking grind, and you have to get lucky, that's for sure.
