I'm leaning South Carolina and Oregon State and Florida St right now. Oregon knows if they win they are in so no need for the style points they will just be looking to leave with the "W". As for South Carolina I'm not betting against the ol ball coach in a championship game. I don't know if South Carolina will win but I think it will be won by FG whomever wins. Auburn had to put up a hell of a fight to beat bama and SC cruised past my Clemson Tigers so I'm leaning heavy toward South Carolina (+6 Bodog) and possibly the Over. Florida St is just a hunch but that one I'm not locked in on yet. Va Tech has won 8 or 9 straight so they are hot right now but it seems FSU has the upper hand on them every time they have played. They haven't played since '08 so all that can go out the window. The more I type and think of it I may just play the total?? That is where I'm at on my plays tomorrow so far. I also have been looking at the Rutgers game anyone have any insight on that one? BOL guys hope everyone has a profitable day

quick question, i figure someone is math savvy enough to figure out this simple question I have. I have the oppurtunity to bet using pinnacle nfl lines ( so 8 cent lines) -104/-104 etc, however if i am a loser on the week I get back 5% of losses. Would this make all of wagers have an expected value of +1%, if not what is my ev here?

ok i am no expert at all, but if you are betting -104 on a 50% outcome:

50% of the time you will win 100 and 50% you will lose 104 so for every 100 you bet you expect to lose $2 (not $4).

so if you bet $1000 you should lose $20. you get back 5% of this that will be $1. so no you will be $19 down. you get a 5% rebate on loses NOT on total amount wagered.
