Now isn't this a fitting way to close out a disastrous and embarrassing NFL game on Monday night. Of course I'm referring to the books when I say fitting way. The differential in points between the two clubs at game's end will be identical to the differential in points between the two teams at halftime.
So for anyone who placed a halftime wager on either club being favored for the second half, it becomes or became a losing bet. The ironic thing about this is that even in the continuous downpour, both teams managed to score the exact same number of TD's and FG's in the second half. A 31-point Redskins deficit at halftime and a 31-point Redskins deficit at game's end.
