Respect your picks Ralphie, but we havent seen Portland play either. I understand what youre saying about Amare but think they will still run and score with the best of them. Turkoglu will make a huge difference. And Amare was a big part of that team but it was Nash who kept it rolling. That doesnt change. GL

Did you watch Phx in the preseason? They're entire offense last year was so structured around that nash/amare pick and roll, and I see them struggling for a while until they get it figured out. Portland was one of the most solid teams in the NBA the last 15 or so games of the season until Roy got hurt right before the playoffs, and I don't see why that changes. A healthy Roy, added Oberto and mathews as well as some young role players, Rudy seems to have his shot back after being injured last year and had like 17 preseason 3pointers, and they're solid at home...thats my take. maybe it's square but I look for Portland to finish top 4 in the west this year IFFFFF they stay healthy

i think turkoglu will ruin the suns..
he doesnt bring a new element on the offence.. turk and frye likes to shoot 3s thats gonna be hard when you bigs are trigger happy..
also turk needs to have the ball to he effective, and so is nash..i dont see them having good chemistr and getting in the playoffs..

I think it will be a high scoring game ( but I will stay away from the total, too early). I see Roy as a great player but anybody on that roster after him is up and down. I definitely dont believe Turkoglu will ruin the chemistry. Likewise. I see Nash driving and kicking it out and we will see the Orlando Magic of the west. Just think 7 is too much to give in the first game of the season to a solid Phoenix team. And I do agree that Portland will be a higher seed in the west. Number 5 or up!!!
