The game is pretty long, about 8 hours or so and even if it rains a little, they do continue it but just reduce the length of the game. Yesterday/Today, it was pouring the whole day so they had to abandon it and they don't have room in the schedule to re-schedule it so it will just be marked as abandoned.
I am going to find out what the odds of the next game and watch the line closely, it is going to be almost the same IMO because unlike baseball, there is always the same team playing, the pitchers keep on getting changed.

if they reach a point where they can't get 25 overs a side, they abandon it. similarly, the chasing team needs to bat for a certain number of overs for it to be a game if it starts raining then.

I don't think they usually ever reschedule - its always match abandoned.

yep they jumped oregon and boise state. means nothing right now but it says a lot about how much of a joke the BCS system is. just way too much variance for a computer formula.

You are right, usually they use the Duckworth-Lewis method or something. In many series, they do have spare days in case for bad weather or anything along those lines but it is usually in Tests I believe. The odds will be favored towards the Aussies in this game unlike the last one when they opened with India as favs and moved almost 40 cents then making them dogs.

sorry if this starts a redic debate on your thread but do you think prior year's results should factor into this years? Boise basically has a bye week every week to get ready for the big games on their schedule. The other major conferences don't is why I'd disagree. Either way it's obvious who 1 & 2 should be.
