Some drunk betting + shit money management. Fml. I have a massive headache right now.

Been there, know alll about it. That alcohol makes us do crazy shit.

I've said it a million times before - books make a shitload from people who gamble when they've been drinking. Thank goodness my son has severely limited my drinking time down to basically zero or I'd have to MacGyver up some sort of breathalyser device on my laptop to make sure I didn't place any boozy bets. I've lost too much in the past that way - every bet seems like a great one when you're wasted.

How many times i was talking to myself: Learn not only from your mistakes but from other people too. I lost thousands while betting after drinking but hopefully I learned my lesson.
I have a friend who is the luckiest man Ive ever seen when it comes to gambling. He tried almost everything: sport bets, online casino + games and online poker. Once we went to the Casino and he put £500 (british pounds) on couple of numbers and hit one of them winning £17 000. He even left the money in a deposit-box at the Casino cuz he didn't want to take it home. When we came back the next nights a bonanza streak was still on. When he got to £60 000 we both thought that noone can't stop him from winning. Untill the day when we came there both wasted. He lost everything in one night.
After couple of months he registered himself at online bookie. He won £150 000 from initial deposit just £1000 and I witnessed all this. I was just wow, it is happening again. I remember him playing Arsenal on the road for £20 000 that cashed.
There was a day once he got drunk and lost all £150 000 and it's not the end of the story. The best part is coming right now. After a year he sold a house and wanted to become a professional poker player. He went to play on a couple of tournaments in differnt countries and was doing quite well. Untill he decided to increase his bankroll playing online poker while drinking. He lost it all by chasing.
He eventually ended up a loser. And i remind you all, his luck was just unbelivable. Without proper MM and sober thinking we are all losers.

I think what you need in this game apart from sport knowledge is reasonable money management, back-up money and luck. Without it you are hanging out there waisting your time and losing your money.

Kind words tommy. And great advice. I've told me roommate to not let me close to the computer when I'm drunk. And if that doesn't happen, I will be locking my computer before I go out and leave the keys with my other housemates.
