UCF is far and away the better team tonight, and it will show on the field. Marshall (1-4, 0-1) is in rebuilding mode this season. The Thundering Herd are getting outscored 35.4 to 19.2 on for an average loss of 16.2 PPG. UCF (3-2, 1-0) has been much more dominant than their record would indicate. They are outscoring opponents 27.6 to 13.8 for an average win of 13.8 PPG. UCF's only losses came to NC State and Kansas State by a combined 11 points. They turned the ball over 5 times against NC State while the Wolf Pack didn't turn it over once, yet still only lost 21-28. K-State needed a late touchdown to beat UCF.

I agree with this analysis. The only thing that has me worried is that the line seems a little too good to be true. But as I saw one of the other posters say " sometimes you just gotta take the gift".

Marshall played Mountaineers tough cause the head coach had ties with WV, he wont have that with UCF. Also UCF ranks in 4 areas in the top 10 in defense in the nation. Marshall wont have any run game, UCF wins this one by 10

I think line is too good for UCF at -5. At 5d reduced juice its -6.5 now.

Marshall is 4-2 ATS last 3 years as 3.5 to 10 pt underdogs. UCF is 4-3 ATS in the same period as 3.5 to 10 pt favorites. UCF has a very favorable ATS ratio when looking at the past 3 season vs conference opponents, on the road, and as a favorite.

All the signs point to UCF beating the spread and that has me concerned. Bookies aren't going to badly mess up lines this many times in a row.

Doesn't easy money make you nervous?

I was hoping some of u boys would appreciate the avy! GO UCF!! just moved to Orlando recently and gonna go to school there next semester. My friends that attend now and follow the team say the D is straight nasty this year! I wouldnt expect Marshall to do much damage!

One of my good buddies is an assistant cross country coach at Marshall and he is a die hard fan. I just got a report from him and he said it was the backup qb that got hurt not the starter. He also said that rain is expected to hold off until later in the game.
