If its +odds its risking that amount. If its -odds its to win that amount.

So

+110 for 1x is 1 penny to win 1.1 pennies.

-110 for 1x is 1.1 pennies to win 1 penny.

Also, he bets for pennies. Therefore you should only bet for pennies.
