morning guys, skrilla sunday

jmob, my gut lean is seattle. ill say this again, p rivers get flustered easy (crippler don't even try to say otherwise after that kc game) and seattle is a tough place to play. the hawks also get pumped up and play a lot harder upfront against the o line at home. ryan matthews is out, tolbert is getting the start. he might have a good punch at the goal line but sd is going to be limited more so to the air. v jackson is still suspended and i haven't seen anything that great from gates, although i missed the last game.

what do you guys think, start Josh Morgan WR - SFO or Mike Williams WR - TB.

im thinking Josh Morgan after his game last week, not to mention KC will probably cover vernon davis and crabtree hard. having hard time starting mike williams against pitt D even though hes been decent.

and also who would you start, Mike Tolbert w the starting job for SD, or Deangelo Williams who has been cold - but might wake up vs cinci, OR Ladanian Tomlinson in Miami. Im thining Mike Tolbert for the goal line reps. But does D Will break out of his slump and score today?

I hate 2 say this but I think that CLE may be the play 2day. Everybody and their brother is proclaiming BAL a lock 2day even though both teams have played very close games so far this season. I think that this is gonna be a very intense close game!

I actually like LT. He gets more reps then shawn greene who i have as my rb. I'm sitting him down today for darius hayword-bay. Peterson put up good numbers against the dolphins and with the oline for the jets, i don't see any change.

BS..I will give you that he indeed got frustrated with HIS TEAM against KC, Prob a little of the weather and the noise as well as his team looking lost(I would be fvcking pissed to)!!

Is it raining in Seattle?? I agree they are tougher at home 4-4 last year and only 1-7 on the road

actually it is drizzling in seattle, its a 60% chance of rain. nothing like that game in KC though. I do agree he was getting frustrated with his own team, but rightfully so - they were lost.

I absolutely love this card today....which doesnt always work out well for me. There are three or four games that just seem like solid money: Steelers, Colts, Saints...GL everyone.

My two cents:

I don't know about some of these big road dogs -- CLE and DET, really? I think you could make a case for BUF.

But HOME dogs are already 9-3-1 ATS and 7-6 SU this season...I don't know how they can get any hotter than that.

I'm feeling like a correction is coming. Of the 7 home dogs today, common sense should give you pause on at least 4 of them: TB, STL, DEN and CHI are clearly not as good as their opponent, and therefore are well-deserved in the role as home dogs. That leaves CIN @ CAR, PHI @ JAX and SD @ SEA.

All the angles point towards CAR as the wise play, but without any ability to judge their QB situation, I just have to pass there. The PHI @ JAX game appears to me to be one of those whichever-team-has-the-ball-last-wins type of games. And personally, I wouldn't walk outside to watch SD @ SEA if they were playing that game in my backyard. (Yawn.)

So while dogs, especially HOME dogs, have been on fire in weeks 1 & 2, I just don't see them continuing to hit at that ridiculous clip this week.

Rivers might not have Jackson but he is still averaging over 330 yards a game and he has almost never had a running back so he is used to getting it done with his arm!!

thats because their run game has been pretty much non-existant with the exception of tolbert last week. and they haven't quite faced the best of pass defenses either... rivers has been forced to throw
